Is "America Attack" now over?

He's mostly the spokesperson for what he WANTS to happen. He can use his influence to influence others, but things don't always go the way he wants even then.

Think of him as the driver of a car where there are a lot of folks trying to help steer. He has some control over who helps steer...

I look at Obama and I see strength, and motivation, and a concern for what he looks like to the masses as well. Whatever that might mean. With his strength of will, he might be able to get the steering on track somewhat, considering he is starting out stuck in quicksand.

When I look at George Bush, all I see is someone VERY (scarily so) similar to my EX.
Spoiled rich kid, never grew up. Weak and cocky, don't give a damn attitude. Lazy and easily manipulated by people stronger than him. Can't take responsibility for himself and his actions. Has the "I'm right and everybody else is wrong" complex going on.

HORRIBLE steering! 120 miles per hour, wrong side of the road, Right off a cliff, with his buddies egging him on.

i think they're both figureheads. both way in over their pay grade. i hope for good things to come about during the obama administration. he's my president. my family (america) voted for him. i hope things go well. it's in our best interests as a country. but i put both bush and obama on pretty much exactly the same level: the big-busted babe hanging off the front of the ship that is the current administration. good, bad or indifferent, obama's just a guy, just like bush.

 

Because he is a product of the corporations. They control him. His administration is loaded to the gills with CFR members and Trilateralists. It's these people that pull his puppet strings.

I hear all this nonsense about Obama being a "good person," but these people know nothing more than what they've seen and heard on TV. I see Obama and I see a total phony that has so many people hoodwinked with his bullshit.

My opinion is that Obama is more than eager to do whatever his handlers tell him to do. The man has no principles. He has so scruples. His background proves this.

I do not see how he is any different or better than Bush. The two are equally bad.

All presidents are hand-picked and groomed years in advance. Obama is a creation of Zbigniew Brzezinski and the Trilateral Commission. Surely this is not news to you, no??

Obama was more than likely recruited sometime in the early 80s while at Columbia University, where Brzezinski was teaching at the time.

oh by the way, don't think iran is going to take any "negotiations" seriously, they've watched america fight on behalf the religious extremists for decades now. in the meantime if they are clever they would do well to arm themselves to the teeth and get ready for the onslaught.

the first wave of attacks on iran will probably attack main infrastructure, military installations will be hit of course but the main thing will be to cause maximum civillian casualties that can be explained away.

before the attack iran will be persuaded in the same way as iraq that they should get rid of their weapons of defence. after this point the attack will be merciless.

there is no end to this war until all muslim nationscease to exist - this is a religious war waged by the brainwashed christians of america, there is no negotiation and no end to this war.

i think when iran is attacked iran has probably decided to go straight to an end game scenario.

Before we get our panties in a wade about Korea all we accomplished by being there was separation of the state. We did not liberate them we keep North Korea at bay that is all.

We as Americans have the ability to change it our laws are based off this very thing. We either spread ourselves to thin or come together to party and who would take that seriously? The rest of us just don't care enough to take out of our own day to day or are barely get by as it is and literally can not afford to be heard.

The United States Government does what its best at and just keeps us at bay. How? Fear of religion, fear of war, fear of disease, fear of economic failure, etc.....

 

the only reason that america is persuing war with islamic nations is because it is in the interests of the people who have effectively overthrown the government. the far right wing christian groups and other far right wing groups of another nation have basically overthrown american democracy.

war is still raging, american troops dead, hundreds of millions of dollars lost, taliban launched an attack at the heart of government in kabul in last couple of days. civillinas killed by american and allied forces on a daily basis. roads to afghanistan cut on a regular basis. war on afghanistan no 7 years old. american economy destroyed.

no basis to casus belli, no un sanction. no weapons of mass destruction found. trillions poured into attacking and maintaining the attack on iraq. war now 5 years old, thousands of troops dead, thousands wounded/ maimed. american economy destroyed. war continues

iran surrounded by attacking forces. has seen america attack iraq in 1991, has successfully fought off iraqi forces under american guidance and training. has developed space capability and other weeapons programmes to defend against the coming attack. has seen that negotiation with america and its allies leads only with death of millions of people. will fight to the last man.

any reasonably organised country not willing to allow american troops onto its soil attacked
