People don't want to confess to themselves that the state of the world is a result of THEIR actions.

I point out cause and effect. When people don't pay attention to their respective governments, that leaves the door wide open for those who know you don't care enough to be bothered with it.

Its an old ancient formula that still works today.

Its still has power because humanity has such a short attention span. History repeats itself time and time again because some things just don't get passed down.

Those who would like to make your government their own, do so by two methods. The first is an outright brute force takeover. Bloody. And usually short in duration.

Then you have the other method. This one uses time instead of bullets.

When I speak against what has infected the government of the United States, I point out they use this method to place their people where they're needed. Over a period of decades. Slow and steady. You'll barely notice.

But then people start to notice a trend developing. Older people will likely see it first. They know they've seen this movie somewhere before. Different actors though.

The rare youngster may pick up on it too, but they're lacking the life experience to know for sure. Hopefully, they will start digging for the truth of the matter. They are the best hope for change.

Otherwise, it just remains the ramblings of old people.

And the world is locked yet again in the embrace of somebody trying to take it over.

You can't stop these cycles. It isn't possible. Humanity isn't developed enough yet spiritually. They lack a true sense of compassion.

But what you CAN do, is to warn others when one approaches so they can make preparations. Those who can travel can often avoid the worst of these cycles.

I've done my part by warning. I can travel. I know when to jump.

The rest of you have some thinking to do.

I like your points xenon. WHen you say time and decades, I think you specifically mean generations. This seems to be more fitting, as it's the way the world seems to operate on these levels of beliefs. This is no doubt because of the "passing it on" factor.

I'm not entirely sure that it's because of a lack of compassion that these cycles do not stop. It seems to be partly because of it, but both sides would use this argument. But I believe it's more becuase of the fact that it's worldview differences. These seem extraordinarily difficult.

There is much to overcome on both sides. The idea of compassion is to be able to feel another's pain and pleasure.

Without this ability, we are doomed to cold calculation, and an inability to FEEL what we do to our fellow man.

The message of compassion that Jesus made so popular is only now beginning to bare fruit.

Then there should only be one classification that of human, not three. The three you cite seem to be based strictly on color, I would think cultural and societal classification would actually be more relevant, but then again one would have to look further than surface color or eye shape.

India is a prime example, there are many shades of Indians are some considered Negroid? Using skin color over geographic or societal distribution is more politically correct?

Why not separate the races by how they evolved, we would then have hunters, fishers, and builder/agricultural? Later in evolution came the traders, those that actually performed no actual productive labor only prospered through the sale of the results of the labor of the other three classes. They appear to be the most influential and powerful group of people in the world today.

And it was Romani I was referring to the travelers, those that call no one place home but appear to have a common history and genetic background. But I would guess you would label them as Caucasoid, I think they would argue the point.

I think I have basic understanding of evolution. I think today we basically have two classes of people: (1) the workers and (2) those that take advantage of them while appearing superior.

 

It's weird (to me anyways), but even very dark-skinned Indians (from India, not North American Indians) are classified as caucasion. Etymologically, the word is a reference to Caucasus, in Southern Europe, through which the caucasion race are thought to have crossed and/or temporarily settled in.

Although I don't see a valid reason for sociologists and other professional to shy away from studies that take race and ethnicity into consideration, in general, I consider every one of us members of the same race: The human race. Although if you go back far enough, it's my opinion that ALL of our families date back to the African continent.

It's been said many times before, and in many ways, but I think it deserves to be repeated indefinitely (or until more people hear and recognize the truth in it):

The trend I have noticed is the one where the enemy is dehumanized, like we with did with the Indians, the Japanese, the Viet Cong, like the old
Tarzan movies that painted all natives as cannibals. It's an old exploit used by empire builders for an eternity. Paint the enemy as non-human, then the exploitation and annihilation is excusable. Evolution has not seemed to make a whole lot of difference.

 

I agree as long as certain segments of the population/society are held above any sort of accountability, there will be a certain segment of the human race that will use this exemption as excuse to improve their situation by taking advantage of that exemption. They will scream priviledged status, while performing deeds that wouldn't be allowed by others..

It's not about Jews having a so-called 'protected status' . It's about the fact that there is no Jewish elite ruling the world and there never has been. People would still call you a bigot if you thought there was a secret cabal of women, blacks or gays ruling the world. Less so with Italians because there is no history of their persecution.
