Number6 when has there been 300,000 people marching against war in the US? if you're making a point that's cool but let's face the facts that even with 60% of the citizens against the war barely 10,000 showed up to march in DC last September. what is plaguing our nation is apathy. if 300,000 marched, i'm sure it would be on the news. not covering something that big would just be too blatant and obvious repression. if the revolution is anything but peaceful, a lot of innocent people are going to be hurt and that's not going to win anyone over to 'our' side except the ones that desire violence. read your history as this story repeats itself throughout. violence only brings about more violence and despots. if you need a model for revolution then look at Ghandi. he lead his people through passive resistance to remove the British. so stev90 you want to start killing cops? the men and women that put their lives on the line to keep us safe and you think that if a police officer dies by someone's deliberate hand that it's no different than any other work-related accident? in that case the act would be murder and not an accident as you have implied. maybe you don't want to kill all cops, just the bad ones. so are you going to be the judge on who is the bad cop that should die? are you qualified for that kind of task. we have a court system that requires a jury of 12 people to decide these kinds of things. you're just one and you think you're equipped to make these judgements? somehow i doubt that. if you've met a lot of crooked cops in your life maybe you need to step back and ask yourself why.
why does he meet a lot of crooked cops? because crooked cops go after free thinking individuals and revolutionaries.
LOL. What a load of crap from a typical, pathetic "god, flag, country" type, "holier than thou", dipshit like you. Here's a video for your viewing pleasure, as I suppose you're one of those who enjoy getting butt-fucked from behind by the "guardians of peace and order". ROGUE COPS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSNcVjpX-9Q By the way, Zenloki, I think, you are an impersonator yourself. Your handle implies zen, as in zen buddhism, a practice of which you have no fucking idea at all. As the cliche goes, "ignorance is bliss", but you're just too damn ignorant. Please don't embarass the zen tradition by posting ignorant drivel. Since you defend all cops and imply that they are all good, I suggest you go find some cop and suck his cock, to show your appreciation. :jester: Now, are all cops bad? Definitely not. But there sure are a whole lot of bad apples out there.
Zenloki, again, your "holier than thou" way of thinking, stupid reasoning, your illogic or lack thereof, doesn't make sense. So, you're saying that if a crooked cop rapes a woman, a woman needs to step back and blame herself for having a vagina. Former JPD Larry Pugh sentenced to 12 years maximum confinement in federal prison for rape http://cherokeecountytexas.wordpress.com/2007/07/06/jacksonville-tx-convicted-rapist-cop-linked-to-missing-witness-remains-while-jpd-gets-awards-for-crime-reporting-floods-bring-fema/ We need more people to expose these rogue cops for the scumbags that they really are, as opposed to asshole "cop defender" types, "cops are all good", "goody-two-shoe assholes" like you that embolden morons in uniform to become rogue cops. Only a thin line separates the cop from the criminal.
“Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.” you want a war with a symbol of authority and not the authority itself go right ahead. it's your life and your choice. if all you want is violence then go ahead, there's plenty in the world as it is and what's a little more. i'm certain nothing good will come from it though. what percentage of cops are bad? what percentage of cops are "just following orders?" what percentage dislike what they're doing but are caught in the system and can't get out? what percentage are decent people that are being decieved and manipulated by the ones that give the orders?
Get real, People. If a violent revolution were ever to start, as soon as the shooting and killing would start, half or more of all you big talkers here would be cowering in the nearest safe hole you could find. There will never, ever be a violent revolution in the US. Period. The US military is sworn to protect this government. The military will never allow that to happen no matter what anybody says, no matter what is depicted in the movies, no matter what you read. It will never happen.
Can't get out? That's bull. its called "quitting". Think its not possible? Hmm... my boyfriend's dad just quit last week because he was tired of ruining people's lives and seeing people cry. Hmm... they haven't gone after him, have they? no... he seems fine... so what were you saying? I have no respect for any pig, because just the fact that they're a cop means that they support and agree with the government's fascists laws that they enforce. if they didn't, they wouldn't enforce them.
I agree. For there to be any violent revolution, first you have to assume there would actually be a revolution. This is going to be hard. Even if the conditions are right, the average American is apathetic, ignorant of current affairs, and generally passive. If an issue does not affect them directly, they do not care. For there to be even a hint of a revolution, there would have to be something that infringes on a majority of American's freedoms. I'm aware that most of our liberties are being stripped away at this very moment, but once again this doesn't effect Joe Everyman. If something like say, a draft, which forced everyone's son or daughter to enlist then you might possibly see a potential uprising. Even then, it wouldn't be violent. Mostly people protesting, civil disobedience, etc. If something like say, the stripping of the second amendment, where the law enforcement came directly to your home to take away your firearms, then you might see a violent revolution but I can't see this happening in the foreseeable future. I don't know if I'll see a revolution in my lifetime. It feels like something is brewing in this generation. Maybe it's just hopeless idealism but we'll see. It's easy to say "why don't you start the revolution" but it's like trying to push a boulder uphill. You can't do it by yourself.
of course it will never happen with THAT kind of attitude. Of course the military pigs will try to stop it...
Right on! What percentage of cops are crooked? I suppose it depends on where you live, here it's about 2/3 or better. "Good" cops don't have a chance in an environment like that. Soldiers. Same animal different uniform. They have to FOLLOW ORDERS and if their orders are to attack their fellow citizens, most of them will. Makes ME feel safe.
No I don't think we're any closer to a revolution now than we were 10 yrs ago. An' it's cause the people are perfectly happy bein' sheep, perfectly happy bein' led to the slaughter
The fact of the matter is that revolution is on the tip of everyones tongues. Even if it isn't going to occur in the near future, it is inevitable. Every society evolves and revolution is part of that evolution. If we are already speaking of it, then it is only a matter of time...
i see and hear a lot of angry and frustrated people over what's going on but if we were truly even close to a revolution, people would be out in the streets like they always are at any other historical moment like that. where we stand now as a nation is not so far gone that it can't be pulled back to center. there isn't a need for a revolution as much as there is a need for education about how our government works. if you want change go join the republican or democratic party in your area and make it happen.
The two party system is the problem. The polarization of our people is leading us to a stagnant pool of bureaucratic waste. Our economic system further enables our politicians to be corrupt and, ultimately, useless to the people their meant to protect. And there is no indication that our society is not leading to revolution. EVERY revolution must begin with simple words and ideas. Its illogical to assume that such change would occure over night. Like all things, it must grow. And the seeds are being sown now. Revolution is not avoidable, only the medium in which that revolution is born can be changed. If our political system doesn't change its course, the people will change it themselves. This election would seem to be the last hope for this country to change its tune, but sadly, no matter who wins, they are still part of this diseased system. Eventually it will end, as all things do.
why does it have to be democrat or republican? I don't see how joining the corrupt politicans will help. There must be a revolt... something big; thats the only way this country is going to get to the way it should be; the only way any of us will be free.
