I think your talkin' about "The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown"

 

The second lead guitarist Eric Braunn has a web site that his wife put together to keep his memory alive. Eric was the 17 year old phenom at the time on 'in a gadda' lp, Eric was a force to recon with on guitar, he passed a few years ago from heart failure I think it was. His replacement was the great Mike Pinera from Blues Image. The First Butterfly lp was "Heavy" and it also has some very good tunes, Darryl Deloach was on this and has a pretty cool voice, songs to dig are "Possesion", and "Get Out My Life Woman" Anyway check out Eric's site and his solo endeavors as he was classicly trained before he rocked the late 60's. It's sad that he's dead so soon ... i like the butterfly records with Braunn but my fave actually (everythingcanmove&change) is Metamorphosis with Pinera & El Rhino (futur Captain Beyond)...

And my two fave from "Heavy" are Unconscious Power & So-Lo
