I'm new to "hip forums" or what-not. can anyone tell me how to start one of the journals?

anyways, about myself. im 18, about to leave for college, and have all these amazing and wonderful dreams but don't know what to do with my life. theres all this exploring i long to do, but where do i start? how do i start? i come from an extremely conservative middle-upper class family, but i definately don't fit the mold.

anyone else ever feel this way? what do i do? how do i break lose?

and... did anyone here go to Bonnaroo this year? it was amazing, if you've never been i highly reccommend it. if you have been, contact me, i'd love to swap stories and chat or whatever. AIM: cassw04

I come from the land of Middle Earth.. Well, I wish I did at least, and I love reading and writing poetry... As geeky as it may sound, there it is. Anywho, I am 16 with a newly acquired driver's liscense. In the immortal words of Homer Simpson...WOH-HOH! but, on with the intro... I love the hippie way of life, and I greatly dislike labels/ prejudism. I also cannot abide blind hatred and ignorance. When I get out of college, I'm joining the peaco corps. That's about it, because I don't like talking about myself! So, thank you for welcomes.. these forums are extremely friendly!

Ok, well, my name is Derek and... uh...well, I live in North-Eastern Ohio, USA with my parents, who are both retired, and my sister who is 21. I work in a pizza shop, and well, it sucks ass. My main interests are music (speciafically 1960's psychedelic rock), video games (speicifically Phantasy Star Online), and screwing around on the computer. I'm single as of now... hey y'all, I'm new to the central florida area...havin a good wet time...originally from Arizona, workin on an internship. just tried shrooms for my buddies birthday the other night for the first time. Also had some hash brownies... good times. I didn't have enough shrooms to really trip out...but I got pretty hyper and stuff got really bright and amusing. I study commerce but my real passion is cartoon and tattoo-type design drawing (!?) I guess I thought it would be the safer thing to study commerce as an artist has a hard time making money here (Im sure you can count on one hand the bands from here that you know!) My user name comes from a cartoon character designed by a local artist that killed himself in may, of whom I was a very big fan. hey im new to this hip forum thiong but im glad to have found good people. any way, i am kyle. the name TheOjaiSon comes from 2 places: Ojai is the town were i live. it ia a great place to be, its small, clean and the people are great. upper ojai is actually planned to be the original location for the woodstock music festival of 1969, but the county decided no because of traffic. Ojai is full of good energy. the name Son was given to me by a mother figure and a very caring brother. on july 5th, i ran away from my home and ended up at a rainbow gathering on the 8th for clean up. the woman whom i rode up with and a very goood man dubbed me "Son". i love the name because it can also soung like "sun" witch is a great. any way i got cought in oregon a couple days later and here i am back in ojai. any way, i love music i listento EVERYTHING and i am proud that i can play music as well. i specialize in guitar, but i can play anything you put infront of me. i love all people on the earth for the roll they play in my life. ive found that loving the pople that hate you balences out the forces of love and hate in your world so i love EVERYBODY.i belive marijuana is one of the best things put on the earth and it should not be used incorectly or taken advantage of, although i am currently taking a break to visit sobriety again. i dont drink. i dont take synthetic chemical drugs. just pot and mushrooms and organic opium. i would love to talk life with any one. drop me a line if you want. any way, peace out, and live your life

 

I just thort I would introduce myself.
Im a musician and love playing music of all types. I have an album comming out at the end of August but I wont go on about music because I tend to babble if you have questions feel free to ask. I Moved to Aussie from New Zealand about 4 years ago. Im 17 years oled and Im a vegotearian much to my pearents dismay lol.....well not really they just dont like the extra shopping. I would class muself as a hippy for sure but I dont know if an original hippy would so I like to not class myself as anything. Jus a person who loves the thort of world peace and cant stand any type of anger or fighting. I love the Beatles!. I am yet to meet many other people who share the same views as me apart from my girlfriend. Most of my friends dont agree with everything I say as they belive war can be usefull. I like playing hacky sack but dont drink smoke or do drugs.....but I am by no means a angel as I like to do what feels good at the time...well thats a bit about me feel free to reply

Thought I'd introduce myself. I really dig this forum so far; hopefully it wont get overwhelmed with spam and anti-hippy posts.

I play the guitar, electric and acoustic. The electric is in pieces now because of an accident so I only play acoustic as of yet.

Hey lovelies! My name is Misty-Jo... I'm currently living in New Hampshire, but I've lived in many other places as well. I was born in Noblesville, IN - then we moved to Arizona, Mexico, Arkansas, Canada, California, then here... I moved 3000 miles from comfort, USA to itsfriggincoldallthetime, NH - lol.

I'm 19 years old and I'm starting college in about 2 weeks. I'm goign to school for K-5 education. I hope to some day teach 3rd or 4th grade... but anything around those ages would be fun. I want the ability to shape young kids minds and possibly make it so their not discriminate agaisnt others.

One of my long terms goals is to won my own Daycare. It's going to be called Mystical Oasis Daycare. I pla non having Kids Yoga, a swimming pool, crafts, music class... it's going to be a hippie enriched enviornment )
