My Name is Evan, and I live in Illinois. I am 14 years old.

My hippieness began when i was about two christmas' ago when my dad asked me if i wanted any cds for christmas, i just said, Classic rock. Well he understood and got me the very best of the doors cd. I fell in love where their music, originally because i play the piano and likes the fact that piano(organ) was used in rock, but later began to really listen to the words and other instruments. That same christmas my brother got the Who's Next cd by the who. I then began to listen to all the classic rock i could. One of my friends turned me on to the Beatles, and i thought they were awesome. I used to think they were just like their old songs (like She Loves You and such, kinda happy go lucky) but then i discovered albums like Magical Mystery Tour and Sgt. Peppers and the Yellow submarine movie. So i grew my hair out. I began to live out the ideas of peace and love. I also decided that conformity was the worst thing in the world, and there for am a very unconformed person Because of my long hair, love for classic rock, and ideals kids at my school began to label me as a hippe. So here i am today.

I love all classic rock and some new stuff.

Music and Writing are my two passions. I play the Piano, Cello, and have self taught myself the Guitar, i would also like to buy a sitar(too bad they are so expensive). I am also in the middle of writing a fantasy book.

I plan on doing some thing in music, and if possible be in a band, while doin all of this i would still continue writing books. I plan on attending college as a music major and writing minor.



So there is the story of my hippie life so far.

I don't even know if i'm a real hippie, i guess. My dad was hippie (i got photos and his mind it's still the same) and i just love nature and i'm all peace and love .

About music? I love Bach to Iron Maiden, Queen to Guns N' Roses, Grateful Dead to Bob Dylan and Beatles... i love a lot of things.

I just love my guitar, and i am playing for 2 years

Hello. I'm Kaity. I'm 15 and i live in New York... not the city, About 1 1/2 hours from NYC, but as far as im concerned, its not enough. My family owns an organic produce farm, and we sell produce at markets and such. As far as that goes, i've very into organic farming. I would like to go to college for organic farming, enviornmental conservation, resource managment, and religion... i hope to find some field of study that combines them all, with th epossible exception of religion. Any ideas on a field that combines them? Any way... lets see. What else is there to say about me, well i believe that fashion is rediculous, expensive, and all together pathetic. I dont see spending tons of money of things that only make you "look" a certain way, i mean when did society become just about how you look and not about your belifes and personality? Enough of that. My beliefs on government... well i dont really like our government system, but i dont have an idea for a new one at this point... eventually i hope? I'm very against the war in Iraq, and any of Bush's ingenious plans... especially those that involve the enviornment. I love my music (Simon and Garfunkle, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Joan Baez, The Hooters, Jefferson Airplane... way too many to list) although sometimes its nice just to sit outside where there is only nature... natures music is quite lovely and relaxing. So I suppose this sums myself up some.
