BTW, what you wrote as an absurdity was actually pretty close to the original judge who ruled against the Lovings in Virginia. This Friday June 12, is the 42nd anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that overturned all the miscegenation laws in the US.

If you don't know what the Loving Versus Virginia case is, it is not surprising. I don't think they teach it in history because it is so embarrasing that we had an Apartheid as bad as South Africa up into the late 1960s.

So, staying with this original thread topic, it would have been a moot topic in 17 states before 1967 to have interracial love because it was illegal if done openly.

I love this thread, I saw a video in anthropology class, it was video of scientist trying to find a racial difference evidenced in blood samples, they did all these tests for years and years and never found one bit of difference in supposedly different races. Yet some of them still felt it necessary to categorize people as Caucasoid, Mongoloid and Negroids. GET OVER IT PEOPLE. I would say that I have very specific tastes, and I wouldnt consider them necessarily race-related. However, I have never found myself attracted to black women.
