I know Internet love can bloom into something out of this world. I met my bf on a internet dating site and we have been together now for almost ten months, and i have NEVER been happier with anyone i have ever dated in my twenty six years I think he is the one that i want to be with for the rest of my life and all because I took the chance and messaged him on the site (After my BFF tried talking me into it for a few months). Looking back tho it was the best thing i have ever done before, we talked and texted for a couple weeks before we actually met in person and those couple weeks let me get to know the real him without it being akward doing it face to face IMO anyway. I would recomend it to someone if you have the patience to weed out the weirdo's to find the one that will steal your heart. You should give it a chance!!
I've never met anyone online. Never signed up for a dating site or anything. If I had the chance i would probably meet someone from here though if they lived close to me.
If you tend to be shy like me it's a good way to be able to be more open at first and really get to know someone for the real them before going through the akwardness of meeting them in person. I find ppl are not as open face to face as they are online or texting IMO anyway
never happened to me, but if some people know each other through the web and then get married, at least sometimes for some people it works you know...
Love, Romance and Sex = Yes (speaking from experience) Lasting, trusting relationships = sadly not (speaking from experience) Ah well
well, yes it works ,, simply because in the start u will not pretend , u will be as yourself cuz it is an indirect cotnact,,, it can get on ,,, ,, good luck for everybody
I flip-flop on the idea from one instance to the next. lol :cheers2: I will say as far as Dating goes, since I started trying it in 04', I've come nearly to the point of it being the only way I do like to meet women anymore. Saves alot of time, and from the profile, at the very least you'll know if She's going to want to listen to crappy music duing sex, and what the chances of her bringing a friend along are.
I will give my account, I met my husband almost 10 years ago now, online. We were both playing some really silly online game and started chatting. Well things evolved to emails, then phone calls letters and gifts in the post till he flew to Canada to meet me. We hit it off great never missed a beat, and he had to go home after 3 months, very sad, but he came back later that year and we haven't been apart since, and now I'm in Aus.
Can I put money on it having been a Diablo II Wedding? :cheers2: Had a lvl 80 Maul Barb named Forest Jump.

Im a strong believer that loe prevails all. Its not how you meet someone, its about how you act upon it and which paths you choose. just be happy and what comes will come. Personally there was a girl I kind of used to have feelings for that I met on the internet and only ever spoke to her on the internet, she was an amazing person. Never really worked out and we grew apart., such a shame. ...I might go talk to her now!
I have tried it in the past. All I got in return was unbridled suspicion and a whole lot of wasted time on the computer when I could have been out experiencing life and meeting someone the old fashioned way. Not to say this doesn't work for some people but I can't say I recommend it.
I found my love online believe it or not. Not that I was looking for a relationship on the internet. I was fooling around on yahoo chat out of boredom, randomly some one from Indiana asks me if I know a certain someone. Ever since then we continued to chat online for 2 years, I gained the courage to invite him on a road trip to Virginia... road trip didnt work out for him, but shortly after we me up in his home town. He moved to southern Indiana and ever since then we have been in a loving relationship for almost 3 years. So it's possible for internet love to work**
