I wasn't 100% positive at the time it was freon. I did some research later to confirm that when kids are inhaling stuff from household appliances, it's possibly freon.

I never told them to do it in the first place. And to be honest, I couldn't give two shits if they died. I'll give someone on the internet the benefit of the doubt and think if they are cautious enough to ask a question then they deserve a good answer.
