i have done a lil photography and taht site is some major motivation to get back into it. There are some beautiful images on there. I just need to learn more about photoshop!

 

There are loads of tutorials on the internet. I myself am not great with photoshop I just do basic editing to my photos. I'm not knowlegeable enough to piss around with layers and that

 

photoshop will turn you into a dirty slut like me. learn how to work an enlarger

 

yea i took a class at my local college about photoshop and the stuff my teacher could do was amazing but i couldnt understand 1/2 of what she was doing.

 

lol yeah I'm like that. I had to buy a book because I use Corel and no one else seems to. I've been learning the basics for about a year now. I'm an insanely slow learner. Quite often I have to write down what I do because I'll do something that I haven't done before and I don't know what I did to do it. Just don't overwhelm yourself and start at the very basics and move on from there.

I'm currently doing a project "Project 365" where I take one photo a day and I tell you I have learned so much. Also, create an account on dA and post your work. I got friendly with a couple of professionals and they're always happy to give me advice.
