Inspiration Thread (Dready Pics)

I think I have the best of both worlds... London, Ontario is nicknamed "the forest city"
and its true. I'll take a picture from my balcony this summer to show you its a vast forest with city buildings spouting up out of nowhere... i was born in northern ontario and lived in a small little town with a population of 250. we lived on a lake, and I basically grew up in the water. but there isn't much to offer the younger population and most do a lot of bad things and drugs is ragaving the area now. I'm glad that I am raising my son here now where he can appreciate nature, but have more options than to run with the same gang and get into trouble. That and we have some great doctors here to take care of him

i'm a city girl, too. born and raised in san antonio, texas. and i lived in austin the past year and in a half. but i am partial to life on the road... my boyfriend and i just took off on a road trip and i'm currently in canon city, colorado... i'll be in california by april after some time in the mountains. i LOVE nature, and i love a city that has a lot of outdoorsy things to do, but i love big liberal cities like austin. i party a lot and love playing my music for people. traveling is amazing, though. such freedom.

 

probably posted a million times, but i love it. a very big inspiration to me when i started, just so much power and strength vibrating...plus the 'inspiration thread' has gone without pictures for like 4 pages now .__. silly offtopic

 

i went to a gig last night and i was stood behind these two guys, so i did some not so discreet photo taking (the flash on my phone is BRIGHT)

 

love the sneaky pics smelly, looks like fun^_^the first one his ends look so soft and shiny!

 

oof he was smexxy. bassist in the first band, he had the cutest lil face =D

 

i saw a guy couple nights ago with 4 year dreadies. he just goes "keep at it. it's so worth it." as he puts a girl in the car

 

Oooh, pics on the sly! I think I want to *try* and achieve the ends like the first pic Smelly... as luxie said... they look nice and soft! I cant' wait to bump into other dreadies... But since I've been living in this city for almost three years and the only dreads I have seen are on the lady who did mine and her man... well, I don't think it's going to happen anytime too soon.

 

haha, after i took those pics last night, one of their friends told them that id taken a photo, and about 15 mins later the first guy tapped me on the shoulder and was like 'ive just taken a photo of your hair......=]' good times =D

his roots were welllllll messy. had a headband on, but the actual dreads were tied back with two dreads tied in a knot =D

and and!! he was dancing, and his dreads were goin everywhere, and some guy walked past and got whipped in the face, and he just smiled and was like 'yeah! dread whipping!' and he looked so proud hahaha

 

hahaha nice! freaking hippies. i love messy roots. sooo much.

 

aaaaaaaaaaaaaahh last night was just fun. fun fun fun.

 

same for me! i went to a sold out show because my crazy boyfriend had talked to the opening act before on myspace, this chick alela diane. she hooked us up for free! we saw her and blitzen trapper, it was great.

 

yeah i think last night was sold out,, tiny tiny venue aswell, which is always good for a ska gig =D iiii mightve been drunk too
