Considering this is how you joined in on this "debate" I'm not sure you really comprehend the idea of a mature discussion.

Then you followed it up with this, which is surprisingly your most intelligent addition to this thread. But since the topic had already been played out, I chose to just let it go.

I guess because you weren't happy with that or took my lack of response as some sort of victory you responded with this mature bit of wisdom.

So I took it upon myself to lower the IQ level of the "debate" which was already over and responded to you at your level. You then posted this scathing and mature rebuttal.

And finally you followed it up with this gem of wisdom.

All the while you failed to recognize that the "debate" about dosing candy was OVER so if you had read thru the previous posts you would have known my position as well as the others who held a different opinion.
Yet I was the one who starting the immature "calling of names"?
Who's the real numnuts in this thread?
Nobody was avoiding the issue or topic of the debate, the only thing being avoided was you.

Wow...I was going to comment that this show was surprisingly good for a pop-sci documentary. I do wish they would have said more about its therapeutic history, and comparing/contrasting it with other drugs. Overall I was impressed, though I wasn't expecting much considering their second special about natural drugs (the one that dealt with ayahuasca) was dreadful.

Anyway, I was going to post all that, but, after skimming this thread, wow...seems pointless.

    Thanks Cherokee Mist.

On Burning Man - it's always seemed so bleeding hot and dirty. I mean, I was happy to go 11 days with no shower or anything in the mountain wilderness this Aug-Sep, but the desert? BUT, loading the car with water and I have a battery-powered fan and maybe ... I'll check it out. Surely there're ways to cope.

Sonic Bloom in Colorado looks good - and fits with my mountain agenda.

No, IF, it's not pointless (and you did it anyway) - there's more than one topic in the thread.

sonic bloom looks good! looks very rave-y on the website.

man i gotta start checking out some festivals though... i was going to hit up vibes last summer (more reasonable than some others with my location at this point), but i didn't have the money :(

and i didn't realize burning man was so long, that does seem like it might get iffy.

My first fest in many years was last fall in Arkansas - what a great time! Rainbow this year was okay, but not really my scene. I really like camping at fests. So I'm planning on being more intentional next year, like putting a fest or two together with some backpacking.

I..I just don't know how to respond to such an intelligent remark as that.
I mean your maturity and wit just so far surpasses my own that I'm just left speechless.

    :tongue::smilielol5::rofl::biggrin:
I'm sorry, I just couldn't keep it in any longer.

I know it's not completely pointless, which is why I posted. I just thought it was somewhat tragic that this discussion exploded into such a goofy argument.
