Nope. He clearly wanted to know why if there were so many people, we could not feed them.
If he has said that BECAUSE there are too many people, we can't feed them, I would have understood, but he put it in question form.

Really, it has nothing to do with how many people there are. It has to do with where all the money is and what material crap it is being spent on. A family of four could eat for 10 years on what a Mustang costs.
The people I know who have financial problems ALWAYS have money for cigarettes and booze.

 

"Dr. Strangelove" is awesome as is "Eyes Wide Shut". And "The Shining". And "A Clockwork Orange". And "2001". And "Full Metal Jacket". And "The Killing".
