First of all, i think its really cool that you dont wear shoes on school. If i saw someone on my school i would run after him and tell him how cool that is, and throw my shoes away. lol. I wish I could walk in my bare feet all the time! However our school is horrible! I'd probably end up impaling myself on a rusty nail dropped by one of the janitors! Bare feet are so beautiful!
hey man i graduated school last year and i was like you. i hate wearing shoes and i used to run around all day in bare feet or socks.. i got in trouble for it quite a bit... just stand your ground dude and hopefully theyll get over it... or you could just prove ur point more by wearing fluro headbands n the like... it makes for some good fun...lol
I wear shoes to school, but I take them off during classes, and then walk around the school in my socks. Nobody minds at all...I prefer wearing socks though cause there's bits of crap on the floor and I don't like it on my feet. I've got these nice big afghan slipper/socks and I wear them at school a lot. Keep up what you're doing. They'll get used to it.

ohhhh school uniform and their stupid, useless rules =[ if i went to school without shoes i would probably be suspended on the spot lol, we have pretty strict uniform rules. AND GIRLS CAN'T WEAR PANTS! It's the most ridiculous thing, even when it's really cold we either wear socks or stockings with our dark green tartan skirts. AND the skirts don't have pockets. We aren't allowed to wear shoes other than school ones, no jewellery, some teachers will tell you off for wearring colourful hair clips! The other day my friend was wearring a bow and headband and she got told that she could only wear ONE of them, since too much colourful hair accessories were against the school rules. I guess I can understand why they don't want you to walk around barefoot, since you could step on glass or a nail or something. But barefoot is so much more comfortable. Even on free dress days we can't wear open shoes like sandals or thongs (because someone might step on your toes or something) which is really annoying on hot days. *sigh* peace love Jane
