In your opinion, what is the ''easiest'' psychedelic.

what's a good mescaline dose for that first (or 2nd) trip ever?

 

I'd say: 3 grams of mushrooms, 3 hits of LSD, 700 mgs of full spectrum mescaline.

 

do you think mescaline is just as variable as the other two? obviously 3 hits of acid could differ greatly in their potency from another 3 hits. for safety, i'll assume you mean 3 potent hits and mushrooms - the same. i guess when i first started tripping, an eighth of mushrooms was considered "normal" while multiple hits of acid was "crazy." i'm much more interested in higher dose LSD now, and i've experienced the power contained in a mere 3.5 grams of mushroom flesh

 

I understand what you mean, but that's really not something I want to be doing. I've been known to get a bit paranoid (very controlable, no big deal) even on weed. The thing that will happen if I take a high dose is i'm gonna be scared shitless the whole time I'm coming up and it might ruin my trip. I know myself, I need to take it step by step.

My strongest trip has been off 2 feet of San Pedro so far and I've consumed close to 3 feet, which is a shitton more cacti. We are the same age, multiple hits of LSD has never been "crazy."

Mescaline is more friendly than the other two much like how 2cb is more friendly for the most part, mescaline falls under the 'glowing' experiences category for me usually but this is a really good post describing mescaline when it can get psychologically/emotionally harsh but its usually not as absurd or 'intense' as shrooms or LSD.

@shivaya: take care of set and setting and realize that what you are most likely taking has not killed anyone from toxicity. It may be overwhelming but you will quickly realize these drugs are quite a bit different than marijuana. Trying to use psychedelics for entheogenic purposes and attempting to maintain control doesn't work and that's often the cause of distress and bad trips. Even if you have anxiety on the comeup which I still do on nearly every sufficiently dosed trip, including ecstasy, usually you will reach a moment early on where you settle into it and go with it.

 

So I guess what I need to remember is not to fight it and just let it take over. Noted.

i meant in my own mind and my circle of acquaintances. if someone did an eighth of mushrooms, no biggie. if they ate 3 hits of acid...that's a LOT!

i realize it's not really like that now. i was always a proponent for LSD though. a lot of other people won't touch it cuz it's "not natural"

 

Yah, many of my friends were the same way. I read info on erowid and did some other reading before I had ever touched the drug, so I was a little sketched out about purity but I was never too worried about going "crazy" off it, or the doses I was taking to be crazy.

Ecstasy was kind of a big taboo drug for me for awhile, I kind of thought it was like a high risk take it once and you could die thing.

I think if you're open to the idea of being a complete asshole then you don't have a big ego, which means you probably won't have a difficult trip.

The people that bad trip are generally the ones who are afraid of losing what they think they are rather than afraid of discovering more about what they think they are.

IMO, 2C-I is a rather easy compound. Unless you are deathly afraid of temperature fluctuations and gastric discomfort, then you probably will have a fascinating and relatively un-upsetting time. Look at it this way, I have bipolar schizzoaffective disorder (between bipolar and paranoid schizophrenia) and never had a bad time on it even after 10 or so trips.

 

Prime example of the phrase 'to each their own.' And a lesson to any one trying to generalize a psychedelic period.

 

Indeed. 2ci was easy for me though, but it was also boring as fuck.

 

Acid is quite easy to handle, and even easier if you are not alone.

2C-E on other hand can creep you on, the only drug I got bad trips on.

2C-I is really easy to handle.

Also question for others, how easy is DOC to handle?

 

Between the 2, and based on my limited experience with both I say LSD. For me, shrooms/4-aco-dmt can be very imposing and dark and I have no control over it, I just have to face it and ride it out as it berates me and mercilessly shoves my every flaw and failure in my face until it's satisfied I've gotten the point. There is absolutely no getting away from it. When things start getting hairy on LSD I feel it's more "malleable" and have an easier time steering the trip into a lighter direction by changing the theme of my thoughts or distracting myself with an activity.

Out of all psychedelics, I would say 2c-b is the "easiest." No body load or nausea, only good physical sensations. A very beautiful overtone to it, very gentle and forgiving, blissful but not artificial or forced euphoria. It just feels right.
