Imagine how much harder your fights would be if you had to worry about getting your dick in some dudes ass while fighting. That totally changes your thought process on combinations.

 

If you go in, You better take the first mofo that looks at you wrong down and ground pound him until they pull you off. Its the best bet 'not' to get fucked with.
It don't matter if Chuck Norris and all his rankings went to the pen, Not going to help you much, If they want you, They will get you. Mainly lifers who to them, A male ass is as close as they are going to get.
Never been in there myself, But many friends have. To an extent, It is exaggerated, But state and federal pens are different. Plus, It don't help when a pack of smokes to the guard and he opens up your cell for a fuck fest!
That's how most of it happens, Just like drugs behind the walls, The guards play a big part in what really happens inside.

 

Clearly you can kick ass but this is street-fighting, there are no referee‘s to give out warnings or disqualifications and your opponent is likely to be carrying a shiv

I'm going to guess that most of this post is fairly accurate. I don't care how many championships I have or how well I can handle myself on the street....4 or 5 on 1 is different.

 

That's my point. I'd be scared to death. 1 on 1....good chance that I'm going to hurt you. 5 on 1....good chance I will feel a penis in my butt.

Edit to say...I grew up in the inner city in Chicago. I can street fight too. Still doesn't change my fear of prison.

 

The first time someone fucks with u you better fuck them up bad, put them in the hospital or kill them. If u are scared of the consequences of this u will be labeled a bitch and people will keep fuckin with u.

Basically u gotta have a don't give a fuck attitude.

 

Being that you are a humble person, 5 on 1 isn't instant fail. If you have the cred's like you stated, I did golden gloves too, You can pick the weaker links and work you're way around.
But in reality, Id be scared shitless too and I don't think a shank would help much 5 to 1 in a prison/street no holds barred fight.

 

To survive in chaos and the zoo's they call prison, You too, Have to become an animal in all aspects.

 

U gotta make the first move in a prison fight. U may be at a size disadvantage, and the weapons you can use are only so good. So having the first move gives u a little bit of advantage. A sturdy plastic cup hurts more than a fist. Some of these people are probably incapable of actually feeling pain so ur gonna have to physically incapacitate them, which for some crazy ass people could mean actually killing them.

In a street fight a baseball bat or a pipe is gonna win to a knife because of range but not to a gun. And I don't care how tough u think u are ur not taking a bat to the face and walking away from that. Of course in a street fight u can always run if worst comes to worse. In prison u can't and u won't have a bat either. and it's not like in the street where ur probably never gonna see the person again. Ur in there with the same people 24/7 so if shit does come to a head somebody might be leaving in a body bag.

 

It isn't an instant fail and I've fought 2-3 people my fair share of times (in training) but yeah...prison would be different. Scary stuff.

 

I've thought about that before. I would have to abandon all of my self-control training and just become an animal to survive. But that's how institutionalization probably starts.

 

I've never been to prison but I've known people that went and when they came out they were different people.

 

I wish I was good martial arts... It seems to be a dying art..

More people know how to dial a phone than defend a basic punch..

 

The media is exploiting prisoners and the prisoners are using the media to exaggerate conditions. Just like any reality show today. The actors play harder and harder. Corporations that own the prisons, own the advertizing your watching on Dateline or whatever newfangled crap they created. Making millions in advertizing dollars. Not a nickle going into prison reform or correction education programs. Prisoners know this and continue to act out during taping. At most the prisoners may see a few new food items on the menus ...... Another name for modern slavery. These people are someone family. A large % of them will be released back into society.. maybe even someone in your family? According to those statistics that would account for 1/2 the people living on the hood have been raped in prison.

 

I'll tell ya one thing...and this may not be the norm for all martial arts schools...but in my school we trained to use anything available as a weapon....including different fighting styles. There is no such thing as a fair fight. I will use a weapon even if you don't have one. I will kick your balls into your asshole if you give me that shot. I will bite your ear off, tear your nose off or crush your wind pipe if that's what it takes to keep myself from being harmed. I am more than capable of causing serious injuries and possibly death. But....I would never use more force than needed on the street. But in prison...if attacked...I'd like to think I would inflict as much damage as possible but I don't know what I would do because I've never been there. As my brother says "There is no shame to my game. I will bite your fucking dick off to protect myself!"

 

There are plenty of shows on The National Geographic Channel which highlight Super Max Prisons, Lockdown-Maximum Security, Camp 17: Russia, Prison Gangs; the Aryan Brotherhood, Lockdown: Newbies, Black Dolphin Penitentiary in Siberia, .....

Never been to prison or jail myself, but will say I am soaking in all this great advice on what it's really like in prison from all you guys who have never been there either...LOL

I'm guessing that most of us, like Hotwater, derived the majority of this info from prime time TV.


I did know a guy who got raped in jail.
He was in LA county jail, made the dumbass mistake of mouthing off to the sheriff's and give them a hard time.
They put him in a cell that was kinda secluded.....with three very large black men.

apparently they enjoyed his lily white ass all night and the cops where like
"??? no idea what you are talking about sir"

that's about the extent of my actual real world knowledge on the topic.

 

Yes o also have no real prison experience. Except that time we had a class trip to the county jail. One of the prisoners was yelling at me. "Oh yeah i want your tight white ass" and then one asked us where we were from we told them and he replied "oh yeah some of you will be here in a few years. (He was right some of my classmates did end up there.)
i did have a friend who was in prison. He said one time he went to ask a friend of his if he wanted to play basketball. He walked into the cell and two guys were taking his friend from each end. They thought he was there to fight them being they were friends with the victim but he said he didnt want any trouble with them.
