RE: Did you know they've taken the word "patronising" out of the dictionary? Run along and look that up I'm tired of someone shouting "racialist!" whenever you question something someone who is nonwhite is doing. Islam clearly says to subjugate and kill non-Muslims and these folks are simply following their religion. And of course they are ably assisted by folks like you who try to throw ad hominem attacks. I don't have a problem with skin color or where someone is from. But I will call a spade a spade, no racialist joke intended. This could easily be solved. We simply tell the mad mullahs that IF there is another terrorist attack and if it kills ONE Westerner, they will have half an hour to choose whether or not Mecca or Medina becomes a pile of radioactive slag. If not, we level em both.
i'm pretty sure it says something about " i am the only god " and all that bollox in the bible too.. but not every1 takes their religious text word for word... i guaruntee that there are more muslims who dont think you should kill people than there are those who do. and so would it make sense to blow up the vatican because a catholic killed a muslim.. i dont think so. to remove something of such religious importance to so many because of the actions of so few seems pretty silly. im sure the extremists would worship the rubble as a martyr.
RE: i'm pretty sure it says something about " i am the only god " and all that bollox in the bible too.. but not every1 takes their religious text word for word... Find me anywhere in the Christian Bible (not that I'm Xtian) where it says there is a Christian world and a non-Christian world and it is the obligation of every Christian to go out and fight, slay, kill, torture, subjugate and maim the other team. Sure the Inquisition happened but that isn't Biblical. And knock it off with the feel-good chant of "racialist". I don't care what color you are but I do care if you are trying to kill my kids with car bombs.
umm wasn't the crusade a holy war in the name of christianity. to take back the holy land or was that some parralelle universe i once lived in.
RE: umm wasn't the crusade a holy war in the name of christianity. to take back the holy land or was that some parralelle universe i once lived in. Yeah, that was about trade routes, really. But it wasn't discussed at all in the Bible. Trya again.
Raskal - nope, not that naive, either. But whereas we've kind of grown up a bit and not put our complete faith in a holy book, they have.
you can't generalize a whole belief because of an extreme minority. well you can, but that's your choice, i choose to believe that not all muslims are murderers, call me insane!
This-is-so-sad British Muslims were issued with a stark warning to stay indoors amid fears of reprisals following the London terrorist bombings. Massoud Shadjareh, chairman of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, appealed for calm and condemned the bombings. He said: "The Islamic Human Rights Commission utterly condemns this attack, but now we appeal that there should be no further victims as a result of reprisals.'' There was no immediate confirmation of who was responsible for the attacks, but a claim was made on the Al-Qal'ah - Fortress Web site by a group calling themselves the Secret Organisation Group of al Qaida of Jihad Organisation in Europe. Mr Shadjareh said some members of the Muslim community suffered a backlash following the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in the United States, and the Madrid train bombing in March 2004. He said he was "very concerned about a backlash'' and called on British Muslims to "remain vigilant and calm and stay indoors''. He said: "IHRC is advising Muslims not to travel or go out unless necessary, and is particularly concerned that women should not go out alone in this climate. "In the event of being attacked, IHRC urges victims not to retaliate and to report the matter to the police and appropriate authorities.''
Unfortunately it does seem like things are being covered up ... I'll say more when I get the full info
RE: you can't generalize a whole belief because of an extreme minority. well you can, but that's your choice, i choose to believe that not all muslims are murderers, call me insane! I can talk about a belief based on the actual words in its holy book, can't I? I'm not saying all Muslims are killers. I am saying that Muslims are commanded to kill.
Friend of mine working in A&E said that ambulance crews throughout the capital were expecting 5000 injured from across London. The emergency services get better information than journalists. The bus was reported to be packed ... yet only 2 deaths? This was in the middle of the rush hour ... For anyone who doesn't know London, you do not get empty buses at that time. Emergency teams were told that nobody walked off the bus. A train is said to be still trapped underground ... at 9pm engineering crews turned up and went in... vibrations were felt through the ground ... a little while later a fleet of ambulances turned up at but then got sent away. The crews were there expecting casualties rescued by the cutting crew but they were told that they were all evacuated. When I know more I'll say more ... but it could always be a simple communication breakdown. shift is over now so I'll have to wait and see what they tell me tomorrow.
