Not odd. Actually, at the present, only about 60% of babies born in the USA are routinely circumcised. In California, the rate is only about 40% or less. More and more doctors are refusing to perform this mutilation of a boy baby, because it has NO medical benefit. In the recent past, there were at least 3 cases a year of sex change operations on innocent baby boys, because of mistakes with the circ or infection after, which required complete removal of the remaining penis. There is NO medical reason to mutilate a baby, and remove 60% of the skin of his tiny defenseless penis. Circee men are NOT "more sanitary." That is like saying you should pull out your fingernails from the bed, to prevent "germs" from getting under the nails. A horrible solution, to an easily solved problem. Keeping an INTACT penis clean requires nothing more than soap and water. End lecture.
Shutdown!! I don't see why people can be so hung up on marrying someone the same religion as them. I wouldn't give a fuck who I married, religion wise.
it depends. different cultures have different values entirely sometimes, and the most orthodox of jews are a somewhat closed culture that most gentiles don't know too much about. my exgirlfriend was raised in a very orthodox family (though she didn't follow any of the religious rules, luckily for me) and so i basically had to be kept a secret. was never formally introduced to her parents, and was never referred to as anything other than a friend when she was talking to them, even though we were dating for about a year. there are some strong traditions of endogamy in orthodox judaism at any rate. she told me if we stayed together and got married sometime down the road, her parents would probably disown her if i didnt convert first (which is a very lengthy and difficult process) in fact, she said they'd most likely have much less of a problem with her marrying a jewish woman than a gentile man, even though they also viewed homosexuality as wrong. thats how strong the sentiments of "sticking to your own kind" can exist. of course not everybody is like this, but it is common among many people in the orthodox community, as far as i'm aware.
God its gotta be pretty weird-looking though..uncircumcised..does it look like a pig in a blanket or something? LOL I'm pretty comfortable with being circumcised. My dick works just fine without whatever was removed.
I really can't go for the uncircumsized look. But then again, I'm Jewish so uncircumsized penises are just another glaring reminder of how I'm on a one way track to the lowest level of heaven. Dun dun DUN.
The funny part is her icon said shes split between england and spain neither country is fond of circumcisions "or jews in general".
Seamus the moderator here is a prick so normally he bans any one for pictures like those or any coment he does not agree with even if not the insulting type.
There probably linked to the Habad dudes. That's nuts though, alot of people take their religiong far to seriously. Can you imagine trying to marry a muslim, not that would have repercussions.
