Oops, 2 goofs in one. For some reason I was thinking VG was a woman. Shrug, sorry bout that. And yeah, I guess he was saying that was an assumption on the OPs part. It does seem to me, from the outside, that gay guys do have an easier time hooking up. Though it's likely a mix of the more sex-positive/permissive cultural elements along with the point VG made. I know the point he made plays a role in lesbian dating, in that the 'social ranking' of your partner seems much less important in lesbian than in straight circles.
