Depends on your perception, to deny you have ever said something to me is the same as contradicting that which you have said and denied saying

e.g.
you say that i should isolate myself because others shouldnt have to deal with me, but then say that i agree'd with you as justification for saying it when i didnt, is as big a contradicttion and back peddle as i've ever heard... and ive read the old testament.

The benefits thing was to do with welfare, as in me quiting my job, nothing to do with SE.
