Therefore there's always going to be those that will perpetuate some sort of lie that fools people into doing upspeakable things. And these men will say and claim to be anything and everything if it gets them what they want.

• Charles Manson said he was Jesus reincarnated
• Margret Thatcher had a nation looking for Reds under our beds.
• The KKK says blackmen only want to sell crack to children.
• etc.. etc.. etc.

And the list of crazy things these greedy boys say is long. They can transform pious people into fanatical zealots.. People that take pride in their communities into murderous patriots... And simple scientist looking for knowledge into nuke builders.

This is how it works in this world sadly and sadly nation states with their greedy polticians are the worst of the lot.

(modern) christianity preaches forgiveness, in most sects. They let you buy god off, by accepting jeebus. But islam is not this way, if you fucked up it doesn't matter if you accepted allah after it, you still are accountable for it. It's possible that a lifetime in a predominantly christian western nation, with the normal frequent lectures about accepting god and being forgiven, has colored the way RIF sees religion. She seems to think that accepting an abrahamic god simply automatically forgives her and resets the clock and it's all fine.

I believe even the more nasty types of islam, like wahabbism, uses rhetoric that implies this sort of relationship with allah. But in the long run, and once their religion has a foothold in an area, they're having none of it, and you're stoned.

Christianity can be very fire and brimstone, but most versions of it do have ways that you can redeem yourself and be okay with god, even if it's a chore. This may fool impulsive, emotionally unstable, grasping individuals with poor research and critical thinking skills into assuming the same to be true of another fire-and-brimstone religion that shares the god of the christians -- but islam does not have jesus as a back door to forgiveness, and your intent in life and towards god, and your opinion of god, do not change your past in islam.


"islam"=submission, a muslim is one who submits. THE FUCKING RELIGION IS CALLED SUBMISSION, HOW DOES THIS NOT RAISE A RED FLAG WHEN NEW CONVERTS LEARN IT?
