Sorry , this is no logical arguement . I can't believe this statement . And coming from a woman none the less . What a load of crap . This belittles and degrades all the female gender . To call all married women prostitutes ? What a slap in the face to your gender . All to support prostitution , you are willing to say all women are anyway ? Yet one wonders if you would still justify this stance if YOUR partner , boyfriend or husband was caught visiting a prostitute ? Or God forbid brought YOU home the gift that keeps on giving . Perhaps one that's fatal . Sure condoms are usually effective , but not 100 % of the time . Shit happens, And yes s.t.d.s can be transmitted though any casual relationship . However the odds of catching one or more from a prostitute has to multiply by at least a thousand times . Simply because of the high risk they put themselves into . Not to mention many are mainline drug users . Prostitution is a male driven business . And unlike what the o.p. said about most of her clients being single guys , I guarantee you that's not the case . I would be willing to bet the farm that six out of ten are married or attached men . Who visit these sex workers to get some on the side . Because it's quick , easy and pretty much untracable . One could argue that by keeping prostitution illegal , that it helps spread diseases , because there is no guildlines of mandatory sex worker blood tests for disease . Or any mandatory prevention education to the sex worker . How many know they are hiv + or hep. c + and continue to work in the sex trade ? Putting lives at risk everytime they work . Because addictions or lack of morals they keep working . If a woman had no recourse other than this line of work to feed herself or family , then I would never "judge" her for doing so . However ,that doesn't seem to be the case of the o.p. in this old thread . She admits she doesn't want to work for "minimum wages " and is lazy when she goes out , to make around one hundred dollars . So if she's just doing because she is lazy , undisiplened to work legit . Or seek the skills , to better herself through education to gain better employment opportunities . Then whose fault is that ?
That's the whole idea - ya hafta pay for a fuck. This would only be true if they really didn't like having sex with the guy, but they did it to get the house and financial support.
I dont see the problem with prostitution. On a street level I can see why people would despise it because there is a stigma that goes along with street prostitutes. I dont see anything wrong with escorts though because they are normally classy, more expensive and professional.
I had a girl sell her body right below me in some paper thin wall apartment complex I lived in, I first noticed when she had a new "bf" 2-3 times a day haha. She had to cute little kids and thats how she supported them, and she was so nice to me, I really was glad to have her as a neighbor, but I could hear the sex and man that was a pain in the ass. Sure its hot for 10 seconds, but mostly its men yelling pathetic things, or her telling them to hurry up, why cant you cum, laughing at him, I heard alot of funny stuff. I will never really understand women and the things they can do. What would you say you normally feel right after the customer leaves, like for that 5 min period after they are gone?
well I actually said it COULD be argued (not neccessarily by me, I just like playing devil's advocate) that married women BEFORE women's lib could be considered prostitutes because they didn't work. Many of them married for convenience and for the comfort of a home and financial support, and in exchange I'm sure their husbands expected sex. I shouldn't have said all women before women's lib, because some did marry for love. Some probably enjoyed sex, although women weren't exactly sexually liberated back then. Some married because society expected them to marry. You know, because of the whole not letting women work thing. but then again I don't remember making that post lol. Who necroposted this thread anyways?I'm pretty sure I was just playing devil's advocate to rile up people like you
There is the case of Sally Stanford, San Francisco's last grand madam, who later had a more sedate career as the mayor of Sausalito, elected thrice. Google her and also read Curt Gentry's The Madams Of San Francisco . Many young women today pay thier through college working the biz part time.
Well Moro hasnt been on for a few years now - wish her all the luck and love in the world I had a day off sick today and came across this thread so read the whole thing - an entertaining read and hilarious comments from a lot of people - good support from most and some that have no idea about life - and what you may need/chose to do to get by. Obviously a few people did not read the whole thing to get an understanding of you moro - and just come out blazing and nasty because you worked as a prostitute, which in there world is too alien or threatening to them. Threatening, as many women have to live with the experience of a partner/husband that may have indulged themselves or the suspicion of it and had an affect on their relationship. Unfortunately some women shot themselves in the foot by neglecting (sexually) a good man they have at home who provides for them well. I have socialised with numerous working girls (as we call them here) and punters in the last years for dinner and drinks in our social scene (though my partner and I dont work in the industry) and I have found the girls well educated (often doing degrees or study) bright, caring lovely people who do very well for themselves. Another area of misunderstanding is probably the enviroment that prostitues work in NZ compared to USA or other countries. Being legal here makes a reasonably safe place to work. Prices are lower compared to other countries but you dont have "Pimps" or the law hassaling you or taking big cuts/fees. Most girls/women work in parlours or independantly, and advertise in newspapers or online. You still have street workers here but not huge numbers, who either choose to work when they want, or they may not want the obligations of working in a parlour or there own setup. Of course as in any country there are some with substance problems that really dont have a choice and do need help. Anyway - Wishing you the best Moro
In the words of the great Missy Elliott: "Ain't no shame ladies do your thang, just make sure you ahead of the game"
There's a lie there somewhere. Just under her avatar she says she's 24. Now,that was in 2007,when this thread started. 5 years, why has no-one noticed that? Do you smell the scent of bored troll?
