If "they" really wanted an effective population control method short of introducing smallpox into the population, why wouldn't they just give free birth control to all teenage girls and all women living under the poverty line? Promoting homosexuality is a dumb, ineffective way to go about it.

 

I think social engineers are going to do what they do and it isn't a matter of vote from citizens.

I hate to say it but if it is a tool of de-population, I support it more then a war or creating a famine or something chaotic. I think the human population does need to be reduced and I dont think its realistic to only let every female have one child on this planet.

 

You probably hate to say that because you realize somewhere in your head that it is wrong. Yes, I also would see less people on this earth but only with a sensible motive and through a sensible approach of course.

 

Ha. Considering the how american abortion/reproductive rights issue is being rehashed in the US, I can just picture what would happen if you proposed mandatory abortions. (That's how you keep the one-kid rule in check) Neither side would support it. The one side would be 'hey, my rights' and the other would be 'hey, the babies'. It's a bad idea trying to market itself as rational. I understand the sentiment though.
