That thought had occured to me too... there's more than one good reason I'd never show what I look like online...

Then again, there are lots of women who say they look "ugly", when they clearly aren't, then post pics of themselves when it's clear they're just fishing for compliments. It's certainly a possibility the pics the OP posted weren't actually of themselves and were posted for devilment. But then again, it's equally possible the pics are of the OP, and they just stopped posting because a lot of the responses weren't what they wanted to hear... Seeing as the OP is actually far from ugly though, It's more likely that the person in the pics is the OP.

Thank you for doing that. I hate when people get up on their high horse and start analyzing you with so little information about you, and absolutely no credentials to warrant making ridiculous assumptions about what kind of person you are.

 

My two cents is that it's a teenage girl thing. I hear the same thing from one of my daughters. Perhaps there is a cultural influence (like corporate media seeking profit$) causing this type of behavior.

Can you please define "normal"? Why are you so obsessed with looking "normal" anyways? Each and every person is unique in their own way, everyone looks different. Except for those anorexic slutty girls with the bleach blonde hair and sprayed on tans that idolize Brittney Spears or whoever the fuck is popular at the moment... Is that what you think is normal?

In all honesty, i think you're average... if i saw you walking down the street i wouldn't be like "oh shit that's hideous" nor would i drop my jaw in amazement due to your stunning good looks... I'm sure i'm not the best looking guy, along with many other guys and girls on this forum, yet you don't see us making shitty threads like this posting pictures of ourselves for attention, you say it's not for attention and you aren't looking for compliments... but lets face it... that's exactly what you're doing with this thread, even though i know you're going to deny it.

You don't need to improve anything, you look fine the way you are, and for your issue with looking different in every picture... why is that even an issue? I'm actually the same way, a lot of my pictures look extremely different from one another... why is that a problem? Who cares? Its just a picture...

I wouldn't say above average, mediocore, there's nothing special here (appearance wise at least) which is average...

Yes. The whole point of this thread was to gain attention. Some girls at that age love it when people say nice things about them. Its an ego booster, she pretends to "hate" herself so everyone will comfort her, and say overly nice things about her to try to make her feel better. Notice how she stopped posting after a while.

 

That's true, and then some never believe they're pretty. The key is to realize that life isn't primarily about looks anyway.....
