There really is. If somebody dropped me $10k and a year to pay it back...interest free... I'd be doing quite well by the end of that year period. No question to it.

 

I don't know about opening my own business, I don't have a head for that sort of thing.

I know if I were given 10,000 just to have, I'd put it in my IRA.

I'm boring.

 

Haha I just need to start working at a shop down here for a bit to learn the ropes.

If I had to start a business with 10k, it'd be a yard maintenance company...thats enough for a truck, trailer, and enough equip to keep 3-4 illegal julios busy, it'd take one summer to make the initial 10k back probably

and you'd do no labor yourself.

 

I meant branch out the tattoo business into a new area. Didn't mean diversify.

Sad thing is... I missed it completely.

The mind only takes so much wit and numbers throughout a weak before it snaps.

Sit down job or not, 12 hour days arguing and negotiating with would-be customers is draining as hell.

i'm hoping to do this someday:

i'd open my own jewelry shop wherever it is i live. i make SO much jewelry and sell it anyway.
i'd be the owner and hire family mebers & friends before anyone else. i wouldn't expand or anything; it'd just be a quaint little shop at the corner of a sidewalk.

 

i'd start my own desktop publishing (term is a little outdated...but you know what i mean) business...i'd do it out of my own home...and i would be a one woman machine....
