I consider dating a non-sexual experience: Just two people trying to make some sense out of the world.

I'd like to date you, but you always ignore the comments I make about your poetry and such. Given that I put a lot of thought into my comments about your words - I take it that you don't want to be friends with a gay dude - even when there is no sexual interest?

You seem really cool and intelligent. So I just thought it would be awesome to share a beer or two while we discuss the current mediocrity of poetry and politics.

No sex wanted. Just an exchange of ideas.

Thank you for your kind words. I do not intentionally ignore you and/or your comments. As for my poetry, I don't even remember what I put up here and I can't say I remember your comments.
Your sexual preference is also completely irrelevant to me, friendships should not be based on being either homosexual or heterosexual.
