I don't know. You look to be about the same size as the first girl in Jamaican Youth's post.

I don't know...but fatness isn't what comes across in the photo...hotness does, though.

Good for her! Much improved, I'm sure.

Oh ok, what did you end up doing to lose so much weight?

Alternate running as fast as I possibly could with walking until I caught my breath. As time went on, I was able to run farther and farther before needing to stop, and not needing to walk so much. At first, though, it was just less than a minute of sprinting followed by 2-3 minutes of walking. And this walking is SLOW. Not mall-walking...Rose garden walking.

That, lifting weights 3-4 days a week, and eating good food.

Not food that tastes good but is horrible for you, but good food.

Also, quit smoking and drinking alcohol.

It took about 6 months. At first, I was really having to force myself. Then, I started taking a flax oil supplement and a protein shake called Hot Stuff. That made all the difference for some reason. It just got easier and easier, and I started really enjoying the exercise.

Now, if I eat two large cookies it will make me sick. I'm not used to refined sugar...and I don't even like it anymore.

And another cool thing is that once you lose the extra fat, you realize you've just started getting in shape. It never ends. There's always a next level to reach, and always someone who's in better shape than you are...so it's like World of Warcraft for your body.

Yeah, my mom is the same way with sugar. She had gastric bypass though. So you are always trying to get in shape more and more?

Yeah. I'm still very average-looking. And I've just got very broad hip bones and narrow shoulders...So it takes me having a lot of shoulder muscle and very little fat just to get the basic, masculine V shape. I'm still more boxy...

But eventually, I think I'll get a good V going. And from there, I'll probably start worrying about my chest muscle cleavage or I'll start measuring my biceps or trying to get that indention in the back of my calf muscle.

I know people who are in amazing shape, and they could tell you very precisely everything they are working to improve. There's really no end to it. But it's rewarding, because you do steadily attain these goals, and because the more you do, the easier it is to keep going. I mean, running still sucks...but not at all like it used to! Sometimes it's even fun, like if it's raining...I LOVE running shirtless in the rain. One day, I'm going to get nervy enough to cover some distance buck naked in the rain.
