I could fill the car up with petrol and pay my energy bill!

  3. I know I would pay it into my savings account. I'm not much of a spender. Got a pretty fugal life but everything I want and need.
Boring I know, but the truth.

9 years ago I paid not much more than that for my current house and the 8 acres it sits on. Yeah... I got a deal.

There were some bargains at that time I recall... The 8 acres makes a difference I am sure... that's super great!

I can go weeks without seeing people if I want... Seems I'm doing that more these days.

Yeah, sounds like paradise until it snows. I remember! Enjoy the summer sun while it lasts :) Hope you harvest a lot of food for the winter!

I can't grow food crops, the deer and chipmunks would get them all.

I do landscaping instead... Which has me stomping down mole trails and spraying a bunch of peppermint oil to keep rodents at bay.

    I might buy a marijuana forest! :D

I'd buy my girlfriend a big diamond ring.

If I had $93k I'd spend it all on home improvements.... and it probably still wouldn't be enough.

But, since I have neither $93k nor a single REAL dime to spend on home improvements, I guess it doesn't really matter or pay to waste time dreaming about things that'll never come true.

    You are right!

    You win the prize!

Wanting something so far from reach will lead to frustration.

I have found that limiting my desires enables me to enjoy what I already have...

And considering that I can not take a thing with me upon departure, and l know not one soul who would want anything of mine, I feel free to enjoy life from day to day.

not having a home in the sense of owning either a structure or land to build one on, the aquisition there of, if such could be found to be within reach of that amount, would thus be my natural priority. what i can't imagine is people throwing it away trying to impress each other, unless they already have so much liquid assets for the amount for them to be pocket change. even then i can't imagine wasting that way, what i could get so much more gratification out of hobbies and technologies. those to create and explore with. in any event i would almost surely relocate to some location that had more of what interests me (trains, computers, little furry creatures and "undeveloped" space to provide habitat for them, and actual brick and morter stores for trains and computers, if such things still exist) instead of the the very silly town, still obsessively oriented toward wagering and consuming mind altering beverages and such, i live in currently.

other's might be tempted to find such places as my current location amusing, and welcome to it. for me, this is grindingly tedius.

(the gaming economy made sense for reno 30 years ago, when that was unlawful in much more populus neighboring california, from whence people would come for doing so, and thereby, reducing to almost zero the need to tax anything else, to pay for schools and roads, and patronize regional public transportation, which we now, from my perspective, critically lack. reno-sparks does have a reasonable local bus transit system, but lacks adiquite regional service to surrounding communities. services which granted died from lack of patronage, but that is a chicken or the egg problem)
