We interbred with them, and or ate them We fucked them, then ate them.....and that went on for about 1/2 million years
Okay, but the southerners in america who are predominantly christian and God believing, voted for Trump. How could they be so stupid ! The bible says that you should love your neighbour but Trump hates his neighbors the mexicans and does not even want toyota to install assembling plants over there . He is also going to build the great wall of America to prevent his neighbours from coming and visiting him. So why so much stupidity. on the part of the God believers to have elected Trump, who could actually be the anti-christ ,imho.
^ It tells me much.....Photos and diagrams always do, as a picture always speaks a thousand words. It tells me that humans are next to last on the evolutional spectrum.....meaning there were many variables and much life that existed before us.......Our roots started in the oceans....all of life's roots did...unless to support the Christian faith...some alien race decided to drop off an Adam and Eve pod here to enter humans into the equation.. Oh, and I don't mind being called dumb for not being religious and not believing in a separate entity called god....to the OP.
It's hard to see because of the size. If you click on it, hopefully it will take you to a window in which you can enlarge it with the little magnifying glass icon. Once enlarged you can see the birth of the Earth at the bottom center. Evolution of life started with the bacteria about 4,000 million years ago. Looking to the far left we can see they continue to this day. Then we travel upward in a clockwise direction through the Archaea, Eukaryotes, plants, fungi, etc. Notice to the outside of the chart these all continue to this day. Once we reach the flatworms you'll notice a huge separate branching in red, this is the protostomes which include all types of things like lice, beetles, starfish, etc. Sharks and fish come from the sea squirt branch at the far right bottom of the red area. Continuing to the right amphibians come from lungfish and they give rise to reptiles, birds, and mammals. At the far lower right we have modern humans. If you look carefully you'll see that humans come from somewhere down around the lemurs and are a separate branch from the chimpanzees, monkeys, gibbons, gorillas, and orangutans. The outer edge always shows what exits today. The inter body of the chart shows various branches of evolution and what they led to or when they terminated. The lower inner part shows mass extinctions. You'll notice little pictures of dinosaurs etc. in the body of the chart. If you follow an arc to the base timeline, you'll see the time period in which they went extinct.
There was a mass exctinction 65 million years ago, then a little while after a big jump in the oxygen percentage of the earths atmosphere. Mammals need a certain level of oxygenated air for more complex brains It isnt just about lineage, people tend to think that because of Darwin, even though he said its all variables in an environment All primates would have had the same common ancestor if you look at it one way, in another way, no they didnt, because they all interbreed and some characteristics can come and go in a single generation More likely the question itself is incorrect. Why the assumption it was one genus at one point in time that is the missing link? - Because people today want a simple answer. More likely it was 1000s of different genera interbreeding, evolving, dying out, interbreeding, dying out etc over the roughly 50 million years from 10 million years after the last mass exctinction through to 2 million years ago. That is, its a problem that may be too complex to ever work out if there are a million "missing links"
Good points. What this shows is that the so called Christians who voted for him are utterly deluded morons.
If I see smoke billowing from the windows of a home, I would probably say "there is a fire in there". I'm not going to go inside with a magnifying glass and a thermometer. So I really dont understand what youre asking. Do you need to see the corpse of every hominid that has ever existed? No you dont, and I know that because there are less "links" to the actual existence of Jesus than you think.
I find it necessary to be accepting of people with differing beliefs. You don't have to believe in anything; you're alright with me. I do think though there is something to be said for ethics and morality. How does anyone decide what is right and what is wrong?
Based on the last week, I'd guess Donald Trump? Kidding I think conceptual qualities of ethics and morality develop out of social order: empathy, bonding and commitment to social prosperity.
Most people claim their morality is handed down by God himself, hence, the reason the "moral majority" was neither considered moral nor a majority by the majority of Americans.
No - if you read up on it you will see, it is far from the self, and focus on 'me' - it is moreover that Natural awareness for the continuation of 'we'
