I never said you said Tool was a christian rock band. Blah Blah.. this is getting tiring. I agree that the album seems to show through the death of his mother how Maynard found faith.... but in a strictly Christian sense? I seemed to find more layers to it then that. *shrugs*
i have a problem with fanatical hypocracy, whatever belief or lack of one it might happen to pretend to be. this is not a judgement of any of the bands mentiond, (with whome i have no familiarity known to myself), but an isolated factoid of my personal nature. if it is a shoe that fits at least some of so called "christian" so called "rock" then it can effing well wear it. real, nonbiased, nonchauvanistic, nonbrandname, sprituality is totaly cool. the real thing doesn't pretend or make any slightest claim to know what's out there, only that it's more then what the immaginationless tangibly assume. this IS quite a drift from where this thread apeared to have started. =^^= .../\...
i don't claim to know what is ALL bullshit, but i do know that book of their's is just a book, like anybody else's. =^^= .../\...
