there are many reasons people coerce each other into isolating themselves from awairness of the diversity of reality of which we are very much a part. they come down to collective ego and illusory sybolic 'gain'. and none of them are good ones.

certainly none worth what they throw away.
i don't know how to put anyone in the situation of experiencing any of that,
other then when the times come, natural or political disasters,
when our illusory comforts, at least temporarily melt away,
and we are left facing reality's 'warts', AND its REAL wonders.

but i do think there is always a chance.

people lived close to the land for ten thousand years before other people came from somewhere else and told them to live differently. to forget the reality they could see and touch, and live instead in the illusions and fantasies that were imposed upon them.

and oh yes, those fantasies bring other things that can be felt and touched. and it is not that those things are all bad things. as many of us as there is now, we could not live without them. but we COULD live with them, some of them, without the fantasies of denying the realities of, ... oh well, i'm just blowing words, ether people see things are they don't.

but a time will come when they are forced to. it will come for many reasons. none of them the reasons their fantasies say it will. but because of what those fanasies say, how they say to live, and what that is doing to that whole web of life, that we are to the very core of our being, integrally a part of.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The eBay auction for 22 Michael Vick football cards, chewed up and slobbered on by two Missouri dogs, ended Wednesday as the winning bidder dished out $7,400 - with the money expected to be donated to the Humane Society.
