    I saved BBAD!! :hurray:

Is there a tribal council that I could appeal to? I am not sure a nearly bald rug is the in thing. :)

Okay, I will take one for the team!! :)

Oh, theres another issue that should be discussed too actually...

The idea of a council (tribal or otherwise) being used to control anything...

I have NEVER seen an example of a council that actually acted in a group manner... There are always one or two in the council that are in charge, they just use a 'council' to hide that fact.

To go beyond that part of the issue... people also don't listen to what council's and such suggest... Sorry, they may listen to what is said, but they still act in their own best interests, regardless of what the council says.

Using the word tribal to describe the council is even more telling... Tribes, all tribes, everywhere in the world, that have ever existed, have always had a leader, a cheiften, or some such other person in power.

Wouldn't a better way, be to establish certain ground rules and stick to them? A group can easily establish what they want and don't want in their group, and determine when someone goes against it... The only time you need a leader, or a council, is if there are going to be extenuating circumstances that require special treatment...

And as soon as there is special treatment or allowances made to certain rules, you have just recreated our society as it is today, its just a matter of time.

I agree with all of this.

With the exception that I am requesting special treatment for me. Getting made into a rug might be considered extenuating circumstances. So there. :)

If that fails I did say I would take one for the team and become the rug.

I may regret this. Everyone may regret this as I do not do well being walked on. ;)

They have the industries required to harvest that energy...

I'd like to see someone drill a hole with a coconut or piece of bamboo that was deep enough to harvest geothermal energy... Alternatively, I would like to see a thermal suit that would allow someone to work with an open volcano.

If there were hot springs on the side of the volcano (which there may or may not be), then the hot water from the springs could be harvested... sorta... You could pipe it away using baboo (with a lot of work), but the best you could do would be to use that water as heated water. Extracting any type of energy out of a volcano besides just passive heat, is not going to happen without a lot of heavy industry behind it.

Of course, I would be more then happy to hear of an idea that could prove what I said wrong.

I'm really annoyed at how you Americans/Canadians spell almost any word with what should have an o and u in.
    Do you hear me complaining?
Seriously, the BBC, The Times and amnesty (amongst others) spell it Taleban.
The Guardian, the BBC, Reuters and others spell it Taliban.
Similar differences are apparent when spelling Al-Quaeda.
A lot of Americans spell Muslims as Moslems.
I think it really doesn't matter.
