if a tree was in the penalty area it must have dove. of course unless it was tripped into the penalty area. RH anyone that has played baseball knows there is a big difference in the sounds of different types of wood. maybe thats why the tree fell, it was probly hit by that bugs bunny homerun that you never get to see land.
Pen,m'dear chap;as any non-baseball playing cricket lover will tell you.... ....REAL bats are made of willow!
not necessarily. i only know that there's a big difference in the sounds of different types of aluminum...
Just because no one heard it doesn't mean it didn't happen. You would be able to prove that it did infact happen because there would be evidence left behind of it falling.
well, i mean i played baseball in a local elementary school aged league that supplied aluminum bats and didn't allow wood bats. to my knowledge, most non-professional baseball leagues don't require wood bats, and according to google aluminum bats appear to be quite common in baseball.
If there's no proof then we can omit the fact that it made a sound. Unless if you're deaf then you wouldn't hear it regardless
is that a double negative? no is definitely a negative. not sure but i would think omit would be since your taking something away from being.
If there's no proof, and no one saw/heard it then it didn't happen, but there's always the chance that a squirrel saw it happen.
