Ideal (head) hair length on a woman?

I have long hair & I like long hair on men but I don't see it to often anymore. As long as it's clean it doesn't matter.

 

I just cut my hair short (a little below the ear), but have had it shorter. About 2 inches all around.

I think women with short hair are sexy.

I love women's hair anywhere between chin length and just longer than shoulder length. My ideal girlfriend would let it grow between these two lengths repeatedly so I could enjoy the variety!

 

For me, the longer the better.

 

i agree with the longer the better, at least past there sholders, but the girl i like alot, her mom came up and cut it all off when she got arrested for drugs, shes actualy sexier now!and its only like 2 inches long...but its gelled so i think its very hot

 

I've met a couple of vaguely hippyish girls who have their hair down to their lower backs and while it is a lovely sight and a personal preference of mine, it's not a problem.

 

As an elder, I've noticed that there is an unwritten law that at an unwritten age, women must crop their hair to an undesignated but definitely short length. I don't know if this is because women ultimately find dealing with long hair a pain, but it seems to be a sacrifice of everything that is lush and rich and out of control, and why give up that? Take the lead of Emmylou Harris or Susan Sarandon, and let it flow. There are women who have the right skull and big eyes to do the gamin look, but, after 40, short hair simply looks pragmatic...and pragmatic simply isn't sexy.

And sexy goes on and on and on.

 

If the lady is beautiful, intelligent and there is a connection then it would not matter to me. Having said that, if she has all the above attributes AND has long red hair then that would be perfect. It can be a perfect world sometimes - honest!

I can't really answer this one, as a poll question.

I absolutely LOVE long hair on anyone - even if the rest of the world says "long hair just doesn't suit you" I'll still like it on them. I just love long hair.
That said, I also really like being able to (easily) run my fingers through peoples' hair, and that usually means short-ish hair. So, it's kind of a toss-up.

On myself, I prefer having long hair. If it's above shoulder length, it's WAY too short. That's on myself, though.
My husband says he thinks girls with short hair are just disgusting, to him. He absolutely hates it. Hell, he spent damn near 4 hours brushing my dreads out, just so I wouldn't cut my hair off.

 

i love long long hair. i'm not that big of a fan on the short stuff like shoulders up, but down on the back is okay. but the best i like is like the waist, my current partner has beautiful waist long hair. she says at the end of next school year or end of this summer she's going to chop it off. i'm sad about that.

 

The longer, the better. On both sexes, in my opinion.

 

i'm going to cut mine short after high school and then i'm going to let it dread since my rents won't let me dread it while i'm stil in their house. but until then, i'm just going to let it grow. i love long hair.

well, i like short hair on girls with round or heart shaped faces, and long hair on girls with long narrow faces, i think it just suits em better. My bf was horrified when i first said i was cutting mine...then he saw me with it and loved it. Really i think he's the one who wanted the long hair anyone (he has it now hehe) I dont think all girls should have long hair and i dont think its a sign of their feminine quality. I think anyone who thinks a woman with short hair is trying to be a man is insane i mean look at a lot of anime or hentai a lot of the chicks have short hair and are perfectly sexy and girly.

It doesn't really matter, but I do like shoulder to mid-back length hair. I love it if we're cuddling and I can nuzzle my face in her hair.
