But you can't say it didn't take ten years for your government to even consider paying for the reconstruction of Fredericksburg or anywhere else down here for that matter (well, from the looks of things y'all are still pretty clueless and ignorant/inconsiderate of that). By the way, Fredericksburg only recieved $50,000 in restitution for reconstruction, as we seceeded and you invaded, yet y'all seem to have the notion that there were no economics and just civil rights involved. Please, look at today's warfare. Times haven't changed... and that's just one of the cities we decided to rebuild for the nation's benefit, as we had no other choice. Don't even get me started on Vicksburg or especially Alabama, as they only had that bit of coastline and Mobile Bay, so all in all, the efforts put your union's foot in it's mouth and slowed down the growth process, so we were never able to industrialize and conglomerate to your extent. Don't blame us for how we are... it's called interest--both conflicts of and special interest, as well as Southern fears of Republican control. I had family that served both on the Monitor and the Merrimack, as well as the defenses in Saltville, Virginia, so it divided my family amongst each other.

Of course your armies didn't treat slaves (as well as my Seminole/Cherokee Nation ancestors that chose to shelter slaves in Florida) and the jewish/cuban CSA troops like total shit either (even moreso) because we choose to fabricate our own realities in place of taking the time to actually piece it together for ourselves.

But you don't learn that from a textbook because you have school districts buying each other and publishers out of it and trying not to piss off certain ethnicities and regions and it just ends up being a eurocentric and puritanical mess and a piece of complete watered down garbage, just like how the film Pocahontas says that there is a waterfall in Jamestown, Virginia. Which ass did they have to pull that out of... Roy Edward Disney's?
