well, since my family is all from ny, we had to go back there every now and then anyways... so i mean i spent the summers there and usually every holliday i got. i lived there a couple years when i was young.. and i also lived in connecticut.. yuppies everywhere... hate it.

but after my mom died when i was about 7, we moved from the east coast back to california, dad got engaged yada yada but it didnt work out..
so my brother, my dad, and i all moved to boulder, co because my dad was offered to start up a company with some dude... i dunno......
so yeah.
now im in boulder still. haha i moved here when i was like 13

You are certainly mature for a 21 year old.... This guy I know just became a father and is pissed because the girl didnt want to 'get rid of it ' when she still had a chance. he told her to throw herself down the stairs, but she just wouldnt. I mean, not every 21 year old would be so content like you are.

I seriously cant even believe this. I mean, I believe you, but I am pretty grossed out at the insensitivity of some people.
But thank you for the compliment, I am not mature in the sense of being serious all the time, I am just like a kid when I drink soda and eat candy lol. But yea, I did grow up a lot to dedicate my life to providing for him and trying to make his life better than my childhood was

No no, I didnt mean anything like that. I was very poor growing up and my mom raised me and my sister by herself, but we were happy.
The only thing I wish had been different is that I wish my mom would have spent more time with us, and that during the time she did spend with us, I wish she would have shown more interest in what we were thinking and feeling.
I sort of dont really even know her, and she knows very little about me, and to this day when I talk to her, she pretty much ignores me when I describe my hobbies and my spirituality.
Thats the only thing I want to be different for my son, for him to feel loved, but also to be heard. I think a lot of parents should listen to their children more often.

Yea, he lives with me.
It used to be like, me and his mom would take turns, and each have him 3 and 1/2 days a week so it would be equal. But, in the past 2 months or so, I have had him almost 75% of the time. But, she is going through some things right now and I understand that, I dont mind helping at all, and in fact I wish I could have him all the time. But I of course realize that he needs his mom and his dad in his life.
