A lot of what the Nazis did wasn`t so far off from what the Americans were doing with thier eugenics programs in the middle of the 20th century... wherein `deviants` (including schizophrenics, mentally handicapped and identified homosexuals) were prevented from having any future offspring. I don`t know if the Americans went as far as killing them, but history says they didn`t.

I`m not an expert or anything, but from what I gather the war was caused by desperation and conflicting ideologies. Nazism wasn`t always about killing Jews, it was mostly about segregation... organizing the world into contained pockets that didn`t intermix.

Of course there were also pronounced notions of superiority and inferiority between races, but this isn`t all that different from notions that drove British colonization and slavery before it.

The truth is that people will always hurt and kill each other, and they will use any ideology that will give them an excuse. As a rule, human beings are violent, paranoid creatures, who hesitate only in fear of retribution.

the reason the gun was developped in the first place (compared to the bow, compared to the cross bow) was to be accurate and quick firing, that is why rifling exists, that is why revolvers exist

and I do not shoot automatic weapons, I take my time with my shots, the majority of my shooting has been with single actions and with bolt action rifles

what a very specific scenario you need to develop to make your weapon superiour in your own mind......

but if the infrastructure didn't exist, if shooters didn't get special treatment these things wouldn't exist, again look at the original question

a 55-60 draw weight (which is far less than standard, actually a training bow for small boys) longbow can easily fire 180-200 yards.....
