what people are failing to realise that if the guy in the post above IS who he actually says is AND doing what he says he is, then he is indeed the perfect soldier.

soldiers don't have morality or ethics, they have orders.

what use is a soldier on the field of battle or otherwise if he won't shoot a gun?

this guy above might not be correct in any of his assertions, the war is not valid on any count, there were no wmds, torture prevalent, rape etc.. none of these things worry this person, he has given over his soul and conscience to an entity devoted to destruction. if you try and reason with this person you are wasting your time. you will find debating fanatically indoctrinated people a dead end.



ok look at the germans and the japanese, the japanese especially. they were dedicated troops, this is why from a soldiering perspective they were perfect soldiers.

from a military perspective pre emptive strikes are the order of the day. when a fanatical military order essentially overthrows a democratic government, war is the only result simply because war is all they know, they launch wars beyond their declared boundaries and they also launch wars on their own populace through a string of measures that curtail democracy.

Edit : (they impose standards on the populace as they impose standards on soldiers .when a military hierachy becomes the government they treat the populace as they would errant soldiers when everyone is now seen to be a soldier then to flout orders is seen as a punishable offence. the populace now lives under martial law)

democracy doesn't work within a military order, there can't be democracy within an army because it wouldn't be an effective fighting force. from the military perspective democracy is dangerous because it means that orders won't be carried out. editdemocracy becomes outlawed by a string of measures to strangle it to death which is seen as valid as the entire civillian populace is now fair game and now must obey orders).

if one of your major cities suddenly suffers catastrophe you can be sure that very few soldiers will be sent to do something about it,an army is dedicated to war.

if say a city like new orleans suffers catastrophe a military government will say "so what?" and carry on doing what they do best fighting "the enemy" whoever they may be wherever they may be. this has been the glaring misunderstanding by the american public, of course nothing will be done, the "government" is too busy fighting wars of its own creation than function in any responsible way.

the only way the person above can reconcile his actions to himself is by telling himself that god would want him to do what he does, and that his actions are timely and necessary.

what good would this person be on the battlefield if he had to shoot prisoners or kill civillians or the odd memeber of the resistance movement? he is the product of what is needed, trying to debate this person or trying to make them question life in general is wasteful of your time.

when the military and the government come together bound by religion then the result is the person sat on top of the self propelled gun, he is the perfect result from such a union.
