Don't take the same classes. Save those for later, and maybe even take some introductory classes for your major... it might really help ya out. Fucking this semester up ain't too bad. I fucked a semester up and just used the opportunity to hang out a bit. Getting out of the house and seeing people helped me out, and deciding that I was giving up actually put a weight off my shoulders. I was pretty sure that I couldn't do it, and well... I think that taking time off was the right decision.
Well I have to take the same classes over again. I have this sweet scholarship that totally pays for all my tuition, but they require that my GPA stays at an 85 or above. They will check up on me when I have taken/completed 15 credit hours. This semester I took 13. And as you probably know in college, if you take the same exact course again, the better grade will replace the old one. So basically, I have to retake and pass these classes I fucked up before I finish 15 credit hours, or the scholarship will put me on probation, and I dont want that.
Go to your school shrink, complain about depression, anxiety, or whatever. Get perscribed to medication, don't take it (unless you really want to, yet I don't believe in all them pills as cures for depression and such), and get a medical release for this semester. You can most probably get grade forgiveness on your classes which should allow you to keep your scholarship.
I have absolutely no clue how to go about doing that. I wasn't even aware that we had a school shrink, or how I would talk to him/her or where I would go. Im a college noob.
You must have a school shrink. Go to the counseling center. Practically every university should have a counseling center, and potentially a psychiatrist on staff. Look at your university's website or your student handbook or some shit and find where the Counseling Center (or something among those lines) is at, and go there. You truly ain't got nothing to loose.
