I Need Some Hippie Friends

I'll be your friend! I've got the same problem. I've got a few friends that are like minded, but most of the people around me are either christian conservatives, or "gangstas". PM me if you want my MSN addy. Peace <3

 

i dont label my friends. i just befriend people who are nice. i can always find SOMETHING i have in common with them.

and i would have lectured you about littering too. its one of my biggest pet peeves. especially cigarette buds... ugh.. i get upset just thinking about it.

 

short-man - I feel ya big time...a lot of my friends are preppy hollister abercrombie and fitch people. My other really good friends aren't really classifiable. All the people that I live with listen to punk and basically only punk...so annoying.

Not that I want to perpetuate the stereotype of drugs n hippies but I'd really like to eat shrooms, alas I would never do so with a materialistic A&F person who wouldn't want to be in nature or any of that jazz while their mind is melting.

Get this: my first two years of college I went to SDSU ((south dakota state university (big mistake)). I lived in the ag/bio majors dorm. I lived on the ag/bio majors floor. EVERYONE wore wranglers, belt buckles the size of cantelope, cowboy boots and cowboy hats...they were nice, but just...not for me. I think if I had been a vegetarian there, they probably wouldn't have been as nice. I recommend homosexuals stay away from SD as well...
I switched schools and I have made more friends at my new school in 1 semester than I made in two years living in coyboy utopia, though I havn't met any real hippies yet.

edit: I get by doing what wildflowereyes does. I can talk to basically anyone about things...but I still havn't met any real hippies or people with hippie ideals (e.g. care for the environment, society in general, loves music, etc.) And I guess it really comes down to care for the environment. Care for the environment and nature seems to be the true mark of a hip person.

ok here i know two ways u can meet hippies.
1) Put an add in your local newspapers classified adds searching for hippies.
2) (this one ull for sure meet hippies cause i know from experience) get in trouble and get shipped off to some boarding school there u will find tons of kids into the hippy lifestyle and/or doing drugs. But if u try this one dont behave too badly where ull be sent off to military school cause i have a friend who used to go and everyone at those school smokes pot and stuff but its a realllllllllllllll bitch. or u can get sent to a private school for better education like me.
