you are young, you are not supposed to love someone yet. there is that rare case but the whole point of being young is experimenting with different people and figuring out what you like and dont like. sure there is that rare case where someone finds their "true love" early on in the game, but they miss out on the opportunity to get out there and experience different people. i mean think about it, would you really want to spend the rest of your life with someone who you have grown up with instead of finding someone on the complete opposite side of the world?

 

lol jhax I met my husband at 19 and I certainly don't feel like I missed out experiencing all the different STD's

and its funny, on this particular forum, it seems that there are indeed a lot of young married couples. which is interesting but then again understandable since i live in the USA and its much different in other countries

 

I'd say I was in the minority, I don't know anyone in rl who's my age and married I did know a girl at college that got married ay 17 but she was a Jehovah's witness.

People's mouths generally drop to the floor when they find out I don't have kids and my husband isn't a sugar daddy. I get really rude comments often and un-needed advice about how I should be sowing my wild oats and how they could never be like me. Whatever, I love being married.

 

i've been with my bf for 4 1/2 years and i'm with hdh, i don't want anyone else, i don't need to sleep around/go to clubs to "experience life" lmao

I met my husband when I was 17 and we got married at 20. Initially I was loving everything about being married but I guess he has the mindset that you have. I think it depends on maturity. I am mature enough to be with one person and be responsible about everything that comes with marriage. So even if I ever left my husband I wouldn't feel like I missed out on anything or would go on dating or sleeping with multiple people.
