unions aren't best for every job.

 

i had a union job once. the company told me if i didn't pay my dues and join the union, i couldn't have the job. i dont think it should be required. so i dont want union jobs anymore.

 

They do protect you in instances like this though...

 

this job doesnt have a union.

and i really dont care if they fire me anymore. i'm sick, literally, from working there 50+ hours a week for the past few months.

 

motivates you to go to school, tho, doesn't it?

 

what does a college degree gaurantee you?

as an example? any industry where the demand for employees far outstrips supply. ie: most of alberta.

whoever said something about a degree being worthless- cant join the Peace Corp without one.

and everyone--- i wasn't fired cause they're in desperate need of employees. but i had to work 10 hours today and no lunch break. he said if he sees on the tapes that i am just standing around for any one second, i'm in trouble. =(
i'm so sore. dont think i've ever sweated this much. and i cut up my hands a lot on cardboard boxes.. and the door broke and a big heavy metal thing hit my shoulder real hard.. omg i need a new job. lol
some guys who own a bar came in, said if i always had as much fiest in me as i did then (bad mood= scary maryanne), i'd be a great bouncer lol

 

how the hell can you afford american tuition on a minimum wage job like that?

 

its not minimum wage..

and they have the benefit of they pay for tuition.
