I love pills!!! What pill is your favorite?

yeah why would someone choose ibuprofen?! I know that was like 3 years ago, and I think it was meant to be funny, and it's been resurrected to make us laugh once again. This is what I've chosen to believe.

I like oxycontin and ms contin. ambien's always cool, vicodin sux, perc's are cool. honorable mention: cyclobenzaprine, tramadol, naproxen, zoloft, unisom

 

I'm new to the forum, as an occassional pill-lover myself. I'm 36, and have been a drinker since high school. But as I've aged my hangovers have become 2- or 3-day ordeals. I can pop a vicodin, feel great for a few hours, and feel no hangover. Haven't realy tried anything else, mainly because I'm in an area (SW Ohio) where, at least for me, pills are hard to come by. I try to save an occassional prescription and milk it for as long as I can, and a friend will sometimes be kind and "lend" me one or two from their prescription.


SO HERE'S MY QUESTION, AS A NEWBIE:

Does anyone have any advice about how to get pharmaceuticals, discretely? I'm a responsible person who occassionally likes to simply calm down and feel good once in awhile without a raging hangover. I would never approach someone on the street (I wouldn't even know where to go), but it would be nice to know I could privately and responsibly take a pill once in awhile in my own home, to chill out. My searches have been fruitless. Guess I'm too "suburban."

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I'm just like you; enjoying the occassional pill as a luxury but have no interest in a full-fledged habit or in soliciting drugs from guys on the street. It's usually a joke of an effort trying to find some online; if you find a reliable hook they're usually ripoffs. I've finally found success with my neurologist (of course I should mention that I have real chronic pain and never had to fake it.) But IMO, getting scrips from pain management specialists is the only reliable cheap way to get pk's. It's discouraging at times, and you might have to go through a lot of crappy meds or tests for many months before you get good stuff.

I never had to research what would be a good type of pain to fake, since I already had chronic headaches, but it's something you'll have to do. Find a pain symptom that doesn't require a lot of expensive testing, and doesn't really have a cure. It's good to not mention that pk's help, just that you're in moderate to severe, round-the-clock pain. Faking headaches is not good cuz there's too much they do first before giving pk's. Me, for example, I had to wait about seven months and endure vicious side effects from expereimental mediaction. good luck, just research and be patient

 

Thanks for the reply, burnabowl. Your comment about this being frustrating is right on. I have a buddy (with no hookups) who said he'll approach people at concerts and just tell them he's looking for pharmaceuticals. I figured "networking" with some open-minded people, like on this forum, might give me some insight. Not a lot of open-minded types in this region of the U.S.

I did have some back problems a few years ago, and got some meds that way. I even called about a year later to tell them I threw it out again and they gave me a refill by phone. I was surprised.

Hmmm. Maybe I should go shovel some snow and throw it out again!

If anyone else can share their stories, I'm all ears!

but most of our elders lived by a principle of uninhibited self-indulgence and reactionary medicine later...can't we just set our own ethics about pills, like moderation?

Def. the best ever will always be a oxy. Also a big fan of dilaudid. Wont go to far for these but if around ill grab a couple.

 

yes usually i take any harder pain killers oxy 80mg's are nice lasts like all day
and i really like oxycontin they are nice to.

Ya Pot actually gives me a horrible high, where I become extremely anti-social, paranoid, I over think everything, and only can seem to think about what horrible things are going to happen, whereas on say some of my favorite pharmies such as tramadol, hydro, oxy, Xan, dilotid, dex, or my favorite Adderall I get extremely happy have non stop eurphoria am extremely social, and just plain relaxed. I can't stand pot anymore.

 

Oxy is easily my favorite, with Dilaudid/Morphine probably coming in at 2nd place as far as opiates go. (Never tried fentanyl patch, but heard it was good) Also Enjoy the occasional benzo like Valium, Xanax, Klonopin and will probably be doing more of these as I am trying to quit taking opiates. As far as Adderall, Ritalin, etc. haven't really experimented with the speed type pills but am not much of a fan, as I like the pills that slow you down / relax you instead of hype you up.

 

I agree. Pills are the best drug to do, and the funnest!

 

I'd have to say my favorite is always Ritalin or Speed. Hands down. I also enjoy Zopiclone, and XTC! I really wanna try Vicodine. A joint with some speed or Ritalin is the best feeling you can ever have. If you get Really, REALLY high on weed and then do Speed or Ritalin, its like being really stoned but yet you can still consentrate on what your doing really good and hide the fact that your stoned out of your mind. Its the greatest.
