I have been sleeping on a buckwheat hull (sobakawa) pillow for about 10 years. I love that pillow. It was recommended to me by an Asian neurologist for headaches. He said that he and his wife used them. It's been the best pillow ever! It's very heavy to take traveling but it's worth hauling it around.
if its on television its probably crap. anything advertised on there means more is spent on advertising then on actual product development. i know some artists who make original furry pillows though, and i wouldn't mind supporting them to get one, if i didn't have to use credit or something like pay pal to get one. what the hell ever happened to sending a check or a money order to a post office box? these things do still exist, but for reasons that elude me, everyone seems to want to sell by credit directly on line only.
I'm a 4-5 pillow a night gal. those buckwheat pillows look comfortable, but I keep thinking the noise would bug me!
I Can't Remember The Correct Name For My Pillows, But They Look Like A Normal Pillow From The Outside, But The Core Is Latex. Had Them For About 18 Years And They Are Still As Comfortable As The Day I Bought Them. Cost About $80.00 Each.... Cheers Glen.
