i like animals but......

I don't know anyone that cares more about animals than people. If I had to choose the life of a family member/friend over an animal, it's a no brainer. If I had to choose the life of a stranger over an animal, it's a no brainer--human life is precious. This doesn't mean I don't care deeply about the continued existence of animal life and ecosytems however. If I had to choose losing my right hand or left hand I'd have to go with the left since I'm right-handed, but I really don't want to lose either. If I lose either my life would not be nearly as well as it could be. Likewise, I don't wish harm to anyone and I don't wish harm to any species or ecosystem. If people suffer and perish we all lose. If animals or ecosystems suffer and perish (by this I mean extinction and/or collapse) we all lose.

because they are endangered because of us.
if we never came in and started building townds and cities and hunting and such, they wouldn't be endangered. the least we could do is worry about the fact that they are dying.
