Yes, but only in extreme circumstances.

If someone was hurting someone I loved, I would have the guts to kill to protect my loved ones.

 

Of course I have the guts to. Humans are animals, just like the rest of them. Whether or not I would is another question, as is "would I ever sleep again if I were to take the life of another human being?" The answer to that one is probably no, whether they "deserved" it or not (probably a bad word to use, as I don't think anyone ever deserves to die).
What really worries me are the people that say "FUcK YeAh, I'D dO It! hAr hAr hAr!" without even a thought for the consequences- not only on the murdered's life/family, but for their own life/psychological health/family, etc. just because the situation calls for it.
My opinion on it: It's always wrong, but sometimes the wrong thing to do is the right decision, however fucked up it may be. Sort of a lesser of two evils thing. Sometimes, you have to make a decision, not just sit and cry in your soup that both things are wrong- meanwhile everything goes to shit when theopportunity passes you by, when it could have only half gone to shit and something could salvaed from the situation.

of course i do. It might be cheating because I am a primary psychopath but aside from that it is simple. people arent worth anything and i do not look down on them. they arent even worthy of being noticed. if they get in the way kill them. simple^_^.
clean up is easy enough. to be inconspicuos, cut off the fingertips and grind them up. cut of the head and boil the flesh off to make it unrecognizable. crush the teeth so no dna test identification can be made and bury^_^.
