To the guy that wrote the first post of this thread....

Vaginismus is not controllable, your wife may have had some other psychological issues that could even be from childhood. I do think that counseling would help but not really the kind that u are going to now. Just because your wife is I believe u said 40, she can still have kids, but my suggestion if u can not penetrate would be to get a sterile needle take the needle part off, ejaculate in a cup draw up the semen, and insert into her vagina during her fertile period. Take into consideration however that at her age she would be considered "high risk" all thru her pregnancy due to her age alone.
if u want a kid though, u gotta do what u gotta do.
