stories...

ok, well lets just start off when i got dropped off. i was expecting to be picked up from my friend dan, but when i called him he said his g/f ashley was picking me up because he was still on his way up to meet her. so i get into ashley car and she tells me changes have been changed. so i'm thinking that were not going to head up to canada and all that jazz. but ashely calmed my nerves saying it we were going to leave an hour later than we had planned. so my friend dan finally gets to ashley house and in walks his brother. now i'm a big guy, but his brother was bigger than me. so now were just waiting on courtney to get there and we could leave. so she finally gets there and we go and what do i see, a tiny tiny honda and what are the seating situations for the beginning of the trip. yea, us 3 guys crammed in the back seat. not fun at all. so what happens next, we get stuck in traffic for an hour - in the hot weather. from where you were in MA, it should have taken 20 minutes tops to get into New Hampshire, took 1 1/2 hours.

so we get off to go the bathroom at a super market. and my friend dan wants to get a 6 pack. ok fine, i think were gonna drink it on the way up. that doesn't happen. we don't open the beer until we get to my school's parking lot on campus because thats where we were meeting up with the other cars going up - this is in the middle of Vermont, bout an hour away from Canadian border. so now, we still have the 6 pack which was going to be a liesure drink for a few people, turned into a chugging contest between me and steve. fun, we still had 2 1/2 hours left to go to Montreal.

 

was pretty easy to get across the border. then we drove to a gas station that sells booze. we picked up some drinks and i got a beer to drink for the rest of the drive. so i'm drinking and i finish it right as we drive into Montreal. now, i had thought we were going to get a hotel. but it didn't turn out that way, so i offered to purchase a room on my card. so me, ashley, and ryan go off searching for a room. now i guess something was going on in montreal, just our luck, right? so most of the rooms are gone. we come to find a room at the Queen Elizabeth hotel, and they had a 1/2 suite open. now, when i agreed to get a room, i thought we would have found a room for $80 a night, but no...we found a room for $289...yea, i was real happy with that...

 

lol wow... sounds like quite the adventure getting up there

 

its always an adventure with us...we make simple trips into very complicated trips

*continuing story*

so we go check the room out. i take a huge piss that i had been holding since we got into canada. and were checking it out, it has a pull down bed, 2 couches, chairs, tv, mini bar - you know, regular things in a suite, but without the bed, which is why it was cheaper than an actual suite. so were happy with the room and we go to meet the rest of the crew who was at peel's pub. so we get them and bring them to the room and they're happy with it. i gave the girls the bed (yea, i'm a nice guy like that). so i'm thinking we'll get out in a reasonable time. oh no no no, how i was wrong with that assumption. you know, seriously, girls take forever to get ready to go out. we spent almost 2 hours in the hotel room before heading out. the girls had to blow dry there hair, straigtening it, curl it somewhat, put make up on, get dressed, put shoes on, all the while drinking some beer and chit chatting. us guys got dressed with in 5 minutes on getting in the room.

 

lol sounds fun nonetheless i suppose... even with all the mishaps... I need a vactaion, that one sounds pretty good

 

so once all the girls are ready and done taking pictures, we finally get out of the hotel and are walking to find a place to go. we get to the main street where lots of things were going on. we get our hand stamped for free, because the guy stamping hands recognized some of us from before. he was a bartender that we talked to before a few times at the same bar, he smoked me up a few times too, one time in a snow storm and his g/f put a scarf on me because she thought i was cold. but anyways, we get on the street and go into this bar/club type place. this place is packed, and with our group of 11 people, dancing was very hard to do, plus the drinks were wicked expensive. one of the girls dropped her drink on the dance floor, so we decided to bounce. we went to another place which had a bar and a dance floor, so we were pumped. dancing, drinking and what not. i'm talking to the bartender guy and he asks if i want to take a shot - i said yea, why not. now he said the shot included absinthe and bailey's. it tasted good. me, dan, ashley, and the bartender had one. then i get 2 beers because its a 2 for 1 type deal. dancing and drinking, then i get 2 more beers and a shot of whiskey. then i drink those and dance some more. now at this point i got really tired, because i had a long week at work. so i sit down for a bit.

my friend dan, while dancing drops his drink on the floor. his g/f and kellyn stepped on some glass while dancing barefoot. so once the cuts stop bleeding, we decide to go back to the hotel. get to the hotel and were talking and what not. dan decides to clear some things up, and while doing so, shatters a thing of glass that covered a table. completely shatters it, glass flew everywhere. any glass he touched that night, broke i had to leave the room because i didn't know what i was going to say. i walked around for a bit and go back to the room and i just laugh. dan is wicked pissed off at himself, so i just made it a joke. i mean, what else can ya do at that point, but laugh. i laughed, the girls laughed, dan even smirked a little bit while cleaning all the glass up. the best part was sneaking the glass out to a dumpster outside the hotel.

haha wonderful... sounds interesting to say the least

 

now, the only glass left are the little shards stuck in the carpet. how fun, because now i have small cuts on my feet from walking on the carpet, plus little cuts on my hands from picking the glass up. i lay down the blanket and robe i was using as a cover. i get under the rob, and fall asleep. and i wake up in the middle of the night because my knee was rubbing against a piece of glass that was on the blanket. i go back to sleep and i again wake up with my foot rubbing on glass by the wall. then i sleep some more, wake up with others. i go for a walk and find a newspaper outside someones door and take it. so i go back to my room, and start reading the paper. now, ryan being the goofy person he is, starts playing around with the girls who are still sleeping. really funny, carolyn rolls and says "next person who pokes me is going to get punched." so dan goes over and pokes he, and he gets nailed in his leg
