so how come I'm not called French American, or Irish American...seeing as 1/2 my ancestory came from France & Ireland? The other 1/2 is Indian and that's already covered with Native American.
You sound like a teacher to me- with your incessant moralizing. Edit: I am proud to own up to my prejudice against whites- but, to my mind prejudice and racism are not one and the same.
I like big butts and I cannot lie. You other brothers can't deny. When a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face you get sprung. Wanna pull out your tough cause you noticed that butt was stuffed. Deep in those jeans she's wearing. I'm hooked and I can't stop staring. Oh baby I want to get with ya. And take your picture.
no comprende- We already spoke about this: I feel the need to differentiate between individual attitudes and/or prejudices and, say- Apartheid laws and/or practice. The latter hurts me- the former I couldn't care less about. I have certain prejudices about whites- but none of them hinder their political economic status.
Big deal, that just makes you one more foreign person with prejudices that comes to the u.s. anyway to milk off our culture, economy, and education system. It doesn't make you unique. But be proud of your prejudices :cheers2:
And youre right, there is a difference between prejudice and discrimination. Prejudices are thoughts and feelings, such as an attitude against someone. Discrimination is a behavior or act, like not hiring someone because they are black. I dont really know at what point racism falls into it, I would say prejudices against whites would be racist in nature.
And that is not a prejudice itself, Mr.? I suppose immigrants contribute nothing to your country. P.S. I'm also prejudiced against Brazilian whites. So my comment was not anti-american in any way.
I'm fine with that- so long as you understand the distinction between the political economic practice and privately held attitudes. And you do- a few in this thread do not.
