Why is black american offensive and not white american?

That is what I grew up saying, that is what most black people still call themselves, and they also still call me white.

Fuck that term, I refuse to use it.

 

Yes, I've seen it done, its amazing. Its actually meant for tree animals like koalas I think and I think its meant to knock them out of the tree and come back. See, I have had bad experiences in the past when knocking koalas out of trees with rocks and then getting bitten on the leg when I went to pick up the rock.

But I still agree with the op. It crosses the line of stupidity to call a person african-american who may never have set foot in africa, or have traceable ancestry to africa. And unless they arent telling me, the black people I know don't even care about being pc like that. Theyre fine with black. Or american.
